It's been a week since Mark made the new SP manager an enemy. There hasn't been any particular encounter after that, besides them giving each other stink eyes whenever they accidentally pass by.
Mark is reviewing the latest supply route when a notification from the company's intra-messenger pops up at the bottom right corner of his screen.
Yoo—ITMgr: ProdMgr, HeadQC, HeadAcc, SPMgr and LeanSp please come to the fourth floor meeting room immediately
He raises his eyebrows.
It's unusual for him to have a meeting together with the accounting division and IT department. Mark wonders what Yoo has in mind.
After saving his work, Mark takes his tablet and leaves his room.
"Where are you going?" Kamphan asks when they meet in the hallway.
"P'Yoo calls us for a meeting. Your head division is called too, by the way."
Kamphan makes a confused hum, "That's unusual."
"You tell me," Mark shrugs, "I'll go now. See you."
His best friend waves to him and he takes the staircase since the meeting room is just a floor up.
Only the SP manager, the head of the accounting division and him as the lean specialist have arrived at the meeting room. The IT department is located on the eighth floor and the production manager is surely going to be the last since his division is located at the factory compound.
"What are you doing? Sit down," Vee asks, raising his eyebrow.
Mark makes a face and takes one empty seat on the left side, far from Vee. He decides to ignore how the SP manager's eyes follow him closely.
Yoo comes not long after with a girl that's also from IT, but what surprises Mark is to see Fuse entering the meeting room. His best friend gives him a subtle wave before sending wai to everyone in the room.
"Hmm?" Yoo leans back with a questioning smile at Fuse, "I thought the production manager would be much older."
"He's Fuse, one of the guys in production," Vee answers, "Fuse, this is Yoo, the IT manager."
"Ah, nice to meet you, Khun Yoo."
Yoo whines, "Just call me, P'! Formality sounds so old on me!"
"Uh, okay, P'Yoo."
"Stop scaring the poor junior, Yoo," Vee snorts at Yoo's antics and looks at Fuse again, "Where's your manager?"
"Chief and Vice are out to visit one of the suppliers in Lampang, so they sent me instead," he then grimaces, "I hope that's okay, P'Vee? I've been briefed about the production and the supply chain."
Mark frowns at his best friend. It's always Yoo who demands to forgo formality and just call him P' comfortably, but never Vee. So hearing Fuse in Phi-Nong term with Vee already surprises him.
"We trust their judgement by sending you," Yoo nods, "Please take a seat."
Fuse takes a seat next to Mark. They bump their fists, just like whenever they always meet. Vee raises a questioning eyebrow at Mark and Mark lifts his chin in a challenging manner. Vee can be in whatever comfortable term with Fuse, but Fuse is still his best friend. Ha, take that, Vee!
The supply planning manager rolls his eyes and shifts his attention to Yoo.
"Was that sexual tension I just felt there?" Fuse teases, "Is there something I missed?"
Mark glares at his best friend, "One more word and I'll make sure your division will have to send another member, Fuse."
Fuse raises his hands in surrender and they pay attention to Yoo now standing.
