The five boys leave the bloody scene, walking down the streets making fun of Kakucho for getting the longest time and forcing him to buy the ice cream. The sun was already starting to set as the five friends started to make their way back to Takemichi's house.
As the five make it back to the big house Takemichi recommended he make dinner. The others were eager to try Takemichi's cooking, so none of them disagreed with the recommendation. Kakucho, Ran, and Rindo were all waiting in the living room. while Takemichi and Sanzu were in the kitchen. Sanzu refused to leave Takemichi's side, so he decided to help Takemichi cook dinner in the prosses.
As Takemichi finished dinner, he made Sanzu make the table and call everyone to come and eat. Ran and Rin were surprised at how well the food was cooked ( not expecting a 9-year-old to be able to cook ), They all sat down and thanked Takemkichi for the food. The four couldn't get through a bite before praising Takemichi for how good it was, Takemichi was too embarrassed to respond, so he just lowered his head to hide his red face.
The five talk and laugh during their well-made dinner. Takemichi watched as the four were messing around and making fun of each other. Takemichi couldn't help but smile, he's never been this happy in his life and wished this moment would last forever.
But he knew it wouldn't
