Takemichi pov:
Kisaki had been following me around, peeking around corners or from behind trees while watching me. The others asked me about him but I just told them to ignore him. I didn't feel like he was plotting something, it was more like curiosity, and I was also curious.
I was walking home when I ran into Sanzu, and he decided to walk me home. it was an awkward silence, it must have been weird being alone like this after all that had happened. but I couldn't help but notice how infatuated he has been lately. he would just stare at me and not say anything for a long period of time. the others found it weird as well, I had asked him about it, but he always ended up changing the subject.
As we walked sanzu stopped and looked behind us. I looked and saw Kisaki standing behind a wall peeking at us. I was about to ignore it but Sanzu walked up and grabbed Kisaki's shirt. "what do you think your doing!" sanzu yelled. it was odd, sanzu looked.. furious. But I didn't know why, I thought this was their first time meeting, so why does he seem so on guard?"Sanzu, it's fine, their-" I stopped mid-sentence. sanzu.. the look in his eyes, he... I don't know how to describe it. but the way he looked at me.. sent a chill down my spine...
Kisaki must have felt the same way as held fear in his expression. he pushed sanzu away before running off. sanzu was about the chase after him, but I grabbed his wrist to stop him. "whats got into you, you've been acting weird lately" I said with a frown. sanzu just looked at the floor without saying a word. but then he looked at me with a smile, before pulling away and leaving, without saying a word.
pov:
"Tatsuki... what do you think that was about.." Takemichi whispers to himself softly. Tatsuki didn't respond, he must have also been clueless about what that all may have been. but Takemichi heard the soft laughter of Taichi. "Isn't obvious? That was the behavior of a loyal companion. it's pitiful that you don't even know that much." Taichi snickered. Takemich looked at his hands. he felt weak. all he wanted was to save everyone, to make sure they lived happy lives. but something deep down was telling him that, that outcome was far from reach.
