Also, I can not stress this enough with how much people whine. Shane is important! he is a vital part that kickstarts Kit's transition into what makes her do the things she needs to do. He and their relationship, even despite the betrayal, is what planted the seed for her 'Killer' actions. This story will be no different.
This Alternative storyline, however, when it comes to her character development, is much more rushed for reasons you will read. Once again, this story is much, much darker than the original, so please read at your own discretion.
