Gabe- "You Saved Me" Part 2

After taking literally the whole day to pamper yourself for tonight, the time is slowly ticking away and you find yourself getting anxious.

You had a nice long bubble bath and had Ed Sheeran cranked. You dried your hair and curled it and applied a little bit of makeup. You put on some jeans and a jumper, not exactly knowing how “comfy” to dress for what Gabe had planned for the two of you.

You stood in front of the mirror and stared at yourself.

“Why me?” You think to yourself.

“Why did he choose me?” You say to yourself.

You scan over your outfit and start becoming a bit more insecure when your doorbell rings. Your stomach tightens and a grin spreads across your face. You run downstairs to the door and adjust your hair and touch up your makeup at the mirror.

Slowly, you open the door to see Gabe standing there wearing jeans and his Batman jumper with his snapback on. His eyes scanned you up and down and a smile appeared on his face.

“You look lovely.” He says, handing you a bouquet of white roses. A blush creeps up your cheeks as you take the flowers from him and head to the kitchen to get a vase.

“Come on in.” You call out. You hear the door close while you bend down to get the vase from under the sink. As you’re coming back up, you look behind you and notice Gabe staring at you… more specifically your bum.

He coughs nervously and looks away quickly, a blush creeping on his face this time. You let out a little giggle and fill up the vase with water and set the roses in it and walk over to him.

He smirks at you and holds out his hand for you to take it, “Are you ready?” He says, grinning excitedly. You nod with a big smile on your face and he walks you out to the car where the both of you hop in the backseat.

After about 15 minutes of small talk, you feel the car stop and Gabe gets out of the car. You’re about to open your door but he calls for you to wait. A few moments later you see your door opening and Gabe is standing there with his hand out. You smile and take his hand as he helps you out of the car.

“A gentleman.” You say, smirking. Gabe chuckles and shrugs his shoulders.

You look at your surroundings and realize you’re at the beach and the annual fair is set up. A big smile breaks across your face and Gabe looks at you and smiles as well because he knows you’re happy.

You spend the entire night on rides and laughing. When the two of you finally reach the games section, Gabe rolls up his sleeves and gives you a sarcastic half-smile.

“I got this.” He says, brushing off his shoulders and giving you a wink. You giggle and the carnie rolls his eyes while he hands Gabe 3 rings.

Gabe gets the first 2 rings on the bottle, but misses the third. You giggle again and he looks at you and raises his eyebrows.

“You can do better?” He asks, winking. You laugh and nod your head.

The carnie gives you three rings and miraculously you get all three. You take your teddy bear from the carnie and hand it to Gabe.

“Well since you couldn’t win me one…” You say jokingly, looking up and smirking at him. You look back at him and he is furrowing his eyebrows.

“Oh god, I’m joking.” You say, laughing at pushing him. He cracks a smile and while you’re pushing him, he embraces you in a hug. You stay like that for a minute and he just hugs you. That’s it. You savour the moment and rest your head on his chest. Gabe pulls back and smiles down at you, and you walk hand in hand through the fair.

You pass one booth and the carnie yells out, “Ey! One game for the couple?! One price for the both of ya!” He says, attempting to give you some darts.

“Oh no, we’re not…” You says, pointing to you and Gabe. You feel the blood rush up to your face and you look around.

“Sure.” Gabe says, dragging you to the booth. He looks at you and smiles. While he’s throwing darts he says to you, “Well, I know we’re not now. But I was kind of thinking of asking you out again… maybe as something more than just friends…Would you I don’t know… maybe want to be my girlfriend? I know it’s soon but I feel like we’ve known each other for so… so long.” He says, obviously getting nervous.

Your stomach does that thing again and you grab his free hand and rest your head on his shoulder. He looks down at you and smiles.

“Not a couple.. pssht.” The carnie says, rolling his eyes.

“That’s what I’m sayin’ bro.” Gabe says, shrugging.

“Yes.” You say quietly. Gabe snaps his head in your direction and squints his eyes.

“What was that babe?” He asks, amused.

“I said… yes.” You say, smirking.

“I’m sorry, I still can’t hear you?” Gabe says, putting his hand up and cupping his ear.

“I said YES I WILL GO OUT WITH YOU GABRIEL MORALES!!!” You scream out, with many people stopping and looking at the two of you.

He laughs and kisses your head. He throws his last dart and misses the balloon.

“Better luck next time.” The carnie says.

Gabe hands him a $20 bill and says, “Can I just buy one off of you bro?”

The carnie grins at him and gets down a teddy bear and hands it to Gabe.

“Well, if I can’t win one for my beautiful girlfriend, I’m gonna have to bend the rules a wee bit.” He says, laughing as the two of you walk back to the car.

AWWWWWWW!!! THATS SOOOO CUTE!! I thought I would write something because im kinda upset. I was best friends with this guy Dalton (not Rapattoni) and we were really close. Like brother and sister close and i told him everything. He was there for me when this asshole named Junior cheated on me and dumped me for my best friend. Which broke my heart. On Valentine's day, Dalton asked me out because he said i was his everything and he hates to see me cry over douchebags and i said yes. Well yesterday i found him kissing another girl and like making out with her. I thought he loved me, then that night he came over and asked me to come outside. He tried to explain that he was dared by his frends which was a lie because no one wa there when they were kissing. I said i thought you loved me, you didnt want me crying over douchebags and now im crying over you. Youre the douchebag! I took off the necklace he gave me when he asked me out which had our intials on it and threw it at him and ran inside and cried so much i fell asleep. Now hes talking shit about me and giving me death stares and everyday now after school I just cry because i lost someone i truely loved, my best friend... I dont know what i can do know....
