(this is my therapy)

There were many things Jay Merrick didn't want to do but it ended up happening anyways.

He didn't want to die. He didn't want to work for a faceless man. He didn't want to be forgotten. And above all? He didn't want to forget.

Everything Is Fine.

We Worry About Nothing.

Nothings On Our Mind.

--------------

When Skully woke up, he was in a red tower. He had no clue how he got there, and he mentally cursed himself for letting this happen. He didn't know how it was his fault, but he felt it was, so it was. As he looked around the eerily familiar area, he heard a twig snap from behind him. He flinched and turned around, to see a blur of yellow running off.

Skully sighed and ran after him, quickly learning that holy shit hes fast. "AYE STOP- ugh-" he quickly gave up as the hooded man climbed a tree and Skully stopped below it. The leaned against the tree, panting slightly as he heard the hooded man run away. "God fucking damnit Skully, your better than this." He whispered to himself as he looked around.

The woods seemed a bit less dense than he was used too, and as he looked at the tree, he saw there was a carving of three names.

"Masky, Skully and Hoodie..?" He read to himself. He didn't recognize the other two names, but his was right between the two names. As he stared at them, he thought about the tan and yellow blurs that have been following him around. 'Are those their names?' He thinks to himself. He doesn't get long to think about this however, as he hears familiar footsteps behind him.

"Hello Toby." "H-Hey Sskully! Where'vve you bbeen?" Skully turned around and shrugged slightly. "Your guess is as good as mine kid." Toby's head jerked as he looked around. "Sso you pl-" Toby interrupted himself before sighing and continuing. "Plannnning on coming bback or are you ggonna keep starring attt a tree?" Skully laughed and walked over to the teen, and patted his shoulder. "Lead the way Tobes," Toby seemingly grinned and started walking over deeper into the woods.

As Skully followed the teenager, he questioned if he had his camera in his pocket, and checked. When he felt the familiar shape of a camera he smiled softly before checking it. When turning it on, he saw the batter was almost dead and frowned. He rewound the tape and started watching what happened without the audio.

The camera was pointed to the ground as he(?) Ran as fast as he could, until he stopped in the middle. He turned around to see Slenderman? But he seemed a bit different. His tie was black, and he seemed to be aggressive as the camera was glitching worse than Slender ever made it. He(?) quickly turned around and started running away, not even caring how the camera was pointed it seemed like. As he reached the red tower, he seemingly slowed and turned to see no one there. He set the camera down and walked away and turned to face it. It was definitely Skully, but something seemed off. He seemed more "alive" than he ever was. He was seemingly panting and lifted the mask slightly to wipe the sweat off his face. He opened his mouth to sau something, but started coughing. He moves to turn the camera off.

When Skully looks up from the camera he's already almost there. Toby seemed to be having a great conversation to himself about the best way to use fire, so he ignored him and went back to the camera. "Hey, how long was I gone?" Toby paused his speech and turned to him. "Shhouldn't you knnow this?" Skully sighed. "Toby just tell me." Toby shrugged and sighed. "You were gone ffor around 4 hourrrs." Skully inhaled slightly, before exhaling. "Thank you Toby." Toby nodded and went back on his rant.

As he approached the door, he found himself wanting to rewatch the footage. So as he walked up the stairs, he ignored the usual taunts from Jeff and went straight to his room. As he walked in he locked his door, and took off his jacket. His grey shirt was doused with sweat, so he took that off too. He stood and stared at the bandages covering his side before moving his attention to the camera once more.

As he connected the wire to a laptop he stole a while ago, he questioned how he knew what to do already, but quickly dismissed it when it showed it was done transferring. As he turned to the computer and clicked the notification away, he rewatched what he had just witnessed.

The camera was pointed to the ground as he Ran as fast as he could, panting and whispering to himself as he went, until he stopped in the middle. He turned around to see the weird faceless man. He stopped and he heard a sigh before a yell he'd never say came out of his mouth. "FUCK YOU! FUCK OFF! I WILL NEVER FUCKING WORK FOR YOU YOU FACELESS BITCH!
He quickly turned around and started running as the glitching got worse, not even caring how the camera was pointed. As he reached the red tower, he slowed and turned to see no one there. "Thank fuck." He whispered to himself. He set the camera down and walked away and turned to face it. He lifted his mask and started wiping the sweat off his face. "What the fuck has Jay been do-" he got interrupted by hid own coughing before turning the camera off.

Skully sat in his seat processing the tape, before hearing a knock on his door. He flinched and turned to the door, before remembering that he locked the door. "It's locked, what do you want." He said in response to the door knob turning. "I'm just here to say that let me know if you need any new bandages, i always have some." He quickly recognizes the voice as EJ's and he smiles softly. "Alrighty Jack, don't stay up too late, you have to leave at 5 tomorrow." He hears a laugh on the other side of the door. "Jesus christ stop being a dad." Skully laughs loudly at this, and sighs. "Shush you-" he hears another laugh, before the footsteps go away.

When Skully turns to the laptop, he immediately goes back into thinking about the footage he just witnessed. Did he just call himself Jay? Was that even him? He had no clue he had the capacity to black out until today, so the possibilities were endless. Skully sighs and rubs his eyes. "Why the fuck is this so confusing." He turns to the drawer again and pulls out the notebook that was under the picture. He had never really read through it until today. Never felt the need to.

When he opened it he was met with the new name he had heard, but now a last name was attathed to it.

Jay Merricks NoteBook
(Alex, Tim, Brian, and Seth, fuck off)

Skully laughed at the last bit, not understanding why whoever Jay was wrote this, but understanding it was funny as all hell. As he flipped through the pages, he saw doodles of people -some of which he recognized, others he didnt - and finally came the last page that was filled. The paper seemed like it had been wet in certain places a long time ago.

Well, I know for a fact that I cannot trust myself anymore. I attacked my BEST. FRIEND. I attacked Tim. The one person who hasn't dropped me throughout all of this stupid mess. I know I need to be strong and go through with my plan of investigating Benedict Hall, but honestly? I don't know what my life would be without Tim. I know this might seem strong, but I love him. He's helped me and I've helped him. We've been through too much for this stupid faceless man to stop us being close.

Skully flipped through the other pages, but found nothing. No answers to what happened to Jay and Tim, no more stories of collage, no more filming stories. Just blank pages. Some of the pages were torn out, but they were still blank. Skully sighed and leaned into his hands as he stared at the final entry in the book. "I hope their ok..." He mutters to himself. He looks over at the picture and looks at the people again.

He flipped back in the notebook and looked at the doodles, trying to cross references the words, the doodles, and the image to find out who the hell they were, but to no avail. The only one he could figure out was Tim. The short man with the flannel that gave Skully the intense feeling of guilt and sadness was Tim. He had no clue why he felt this way to him, but he felt the feelings.

Two men watched as Skully followed the teenager through the woods, seemingly fixated on him. "So Skully still exists in there.." the taller turned to the shorter. "You think your gonna be ok?" The shorter man shrugged. "I'm going to have to be Hoodie." The taller man -Hoodie- nodded and turned around. "You have work in the morning Masky." The shorter one -Masky- groaned. "Don't remind me!" He said in a fake annoyed voice. Hoodie laughed and started to run off, as Masky ran after him. "Hey my leg still hurts slow down!!"
