Volume 1 Episode 23
* * *
Monday was pretty refreshing.
Since last week, she has been spending her lunch time with Jerdine and Gid. Today, she ate a shortcake, stretched out, and went out of the cafeteria.
"Oh, the sun is so warm."
It was summer, so the sun was hot. As she was contemplating whether she should put on sunscreen, Gid put his arm on her shoulder. She straightened out.
"Get off. You're heavy."
"Oh my! Your Oppa is showing affection, but you don't find it cute!"
"I don't need it!"
She move Gid's arm off of her shoulder. Jerdine looked at her and tilted his head. At the same time, she also tilted her head. What's wrong with this guy?
"Are you not going to find Kaya Sunbae today?"
You punk.
She stretched her index finger right away.
"Speak informally!"
"...Aren't you going?"
It's been a week already, and Jerdine had to be warned every time he couldn't get used to it. It takes a lot of work for him, too. She put her hand on her waist and nodded, indicating that he should do the same next time. Jerdine let out a soft sigh.
"Yes, I'm not going."
Maybe it was because the last class was a class synonymous with sleepiness, so she was particularly sleepy. The professor was not a sleeping pill though, since he's one of the devil professors at the Academy. She was thinking about what to do now because she doesn't have a next class, and she walked to the promenade. Gid looked surprised as he followed her.
"Eh, why?"
Why not? Should I always look for Kaya?
Is she supposed to be that kind of girl?
She looked at Gid with those eyes, but Gid didn't seem to understand at all.
It was the same with Jerdine, who was looking at me with a silent, startled look from the side.
"You went looking for our prince every day. Didn't you have a crush on him?"
Tsk, this guy.
"Who said that?"
When she asked that, frowning her face at once, Gid paused for a moment. Who made such a rumor?! It was not a crush! It's love! She can't believe her love is viewed as a crush, who dared to think that?
"No, everyone..."
"Who are they?"
"...That's enough."
No, she hadn't received an answer at all.
When she stopped, folded her arms, and stared fiercely at him, it seemed that Gid was a little scared. Averting his eyes, Gid kept his head down for nothing, only wiggling his feet.
"It's just that, Arietta visits our Prince every day, but you said that you're not going today..."
No, you...
She covered her mouth with her hand. Originally, she wanted to find out who was spreading such rumors and ran to him and grabbed him by the collar right away, but for some reason, listening to Gid, she felt that she was wrong and that she was sorry. She immediately raised her hands and stopped him.
