"Priah..I don't even know what to say I'm so sorry.."

So'lana said while Priah rested her head on her lap, she had just finished telling her about the incident with Ashton. It was usually very hard for her to open up to people, hell it was hard for her to open up to herself at times but she was so comfortable with So'lana she felt like she could say anything around her.

"It's fine, it what it is shit happens." She said low and nonchalantly.

"It shouldn't be 'it is what it is' tho, he was your friend and not only did he betray you but you also had to see him die. It's ok to not be ok."

She rubbed her cheek with her thumb while Priah's head was now resting against her chest. So'lana felt like her safe place and she was very grateful for that.

"You're right.." she answered softly

"C'mon, I wanna take you somewhere." So'lana said getting up from the bed and stretching her hands out making Priah grab them.

"Where we going?"

"Just c'mon"

She grabbed Priah's hand and they walked to car and drove off. She had no idea where she was taking her but just being in So'lana's presence was fine. They pulled into the parking lot of this burger shop after 25 minutes of driving.

"You drove 25 minutes just to get burgers?" Priah asked curiously because she could name about 5 burger places that were in her area.

"No this just our first stop."

They got their food and were back on the road for about another 10 minutes. They stopped at a mountain looking area with a trail, it was very quiet and peaceful.

"Where we at?" Priah asked looking around the area to see if she recognized anything.

"This just where I like to go to clear my head. I usually come by myself but I felt like you might like it here." She said making both of them smile at eachother.

They walked up the not too long trail and when they made it to the top Priah was amazed at how beautiful the view looked just from this one area.

"So'lana..this is beautiful, how often do you come up here?"

"When I met you I haven't really been here, which is a good thing. I came here a lot when I was with Ashly."

And that was true. There was times Ashly had left bruises and marks on So'lana. And every time she did she would come here to get away just for a couple of hours. She used to go up there and smoke when ever she felt it but then it just turned into her comfort place.

"So why bring me here?" Priah asked still looking out into the distance still amazed at how much she could see.

"Because I thought it might help you feel little bit better. It's good to find a place to clear your head."

Priah turned around to face So'lana and pulled her in close by her waist holding her tight. What she did might have been a small gesture but to Priah it showed that she really cared.

"Thank you." She whispered with her chin resting on her head.

"You're welcome."

"Hey, I'm here to visit Fernando Alejandra." Priah said standing in front of the prison waiting area.

"Name please."

"Priah Alejandra."

"Go ahead, you have 10 minutes."

Priah walked into the prison waiting area and sat at the table her and father meet up at. She's been going to visit him every month since that's the only amount of times she was able to got 5 years.

"Hey baby girl." A familiar deep voice said from behind her.

She turned around and saw her father walking towards her with shackles on his wrist and ankles. She rushed to him and immediately covered his body with hers. She always hugged him like it be her last, because it could be and she wouldn't even know it.

"Hey papi, how you been?"

"I've been just fine. But I heard your business has been the talk of Houston. I'm so proud of you."

Priah felt herself getting all emotional. She was very happy with everything she's accomplished, but all she really wanted was for her father to see it for himself.

"Thank you, it's been going a lot better than I'd ever imagine."

"That's real good, how's TK and your mom? He been in any trouble?"

"No" she laughed "he just got off probation and just been lyin low. I think it might stay that way too. And mommy's doing really good, she really wanted to come but she had a night shift today."

"Both my kids and my wife doing good, thats all I needed to hear for me to be ok."

"1 MORE MINUTE."one of the Guards yelled.

"You should get going, I love you princesa."

"I love you too papi. I'll see you later."

They both stood up and her dad placed a soft kiss on her forehead. She watched as her father got taken to back to the prison area and gave him a soft smile before he walked off into the distance.

As soon as she got to the car she broke down. Her life was going so good but at the same time there were still huge pieces that were missing in her life, and that main peace was her dad. He went to jail for killing the man who tried to rob his moms restaurant. She knew he didn't deserve to be in there, that's why it hurt so bad.

"Alright lady's, I need everyone in section A to model in the fur coats and everyone in section B to model in the jump suits." Tommy said while So'lana finished the final details on her last winter collection jacket.

Everything was going amazing with Badu Experience but she still felt like something was missing and it's been driving her crazy for days.

"Hey babe, you good?" Tommy asked now sitting down next to her.

"Yeah, I just feel like something's missing you know."

"Well shit I don't know what, girl look at the work you've done everything literally looks perfect."

"You might be right."

She looked around and saw that he was right, everything did look perfect. So'lana worked a lot harder than people gave her credit for. She's made gowns for small events and gowns that have walked red carpets, all at 25 years old. She had a tendency to make everything perfect no matter what it was to the point where she didn't care how much it stressed her out.

"This looks amazing So'lana, you've outdone yourself." Her assistant said admiring her work.

"Thank you, I really have out done myself.."
