"NO! JEONGGUK!" A loud scream resonated inside the bedroom followed by a loud sobs and whimpers from the pregnant male. Calling for the mob boss' name repeatedly.
"Shhh... It's ok bub, mama is fine it's just a n-nightmare, I h-hope dada will be home now. H-he should go home to us. Shhh.." Taehyung whispered to his baby bump, rubbing it soothingly trying to comfort their baby who's kicking nonstop as if sensing his/her mother's anxiety.
"Gukkie!" He shouted enthusiastically when he heard a knock outside their room. It's funny to think that the owner of room would knock on his own room but Taehyung still hopes that it's the ravennette.
"Tae..."
"Minie? what are you doing here? Where's Gukkie?
Don't get Taehyung wrong he was actually happy to see jimin after a long time but currently there's only one person who he was eager to see and unfortunately it's not jimin.
"Uhmm I'm sorry Taetae but Boss send me and Jin hyung to take care of you while he works with some important things."
"Oh so he was back at it again. He has something more to prioritize than me and our baby? And here I am, worrying for a person that I don't even know if considered us as a priority. What do I even expect from him?" Taehyung said with a bitter chuckle. He knows deep within his heart that what he's saying isn't true but he couldn't help but spat those bitter words. He was just missing the mob boss, most importantly the uneasiness that he was feeling in his chest makes him unable to think rationally.
"You know it's not true Tae. No one is above you in Jeongguk's life. You and your child are his everything. He may treated you badly in the past but he had changed so much even after you left him. And what he is doing now is for your own good. That's what I can guarantee you for now." The short male explained calmly. He doesn't want the couple to have a misunderstanding again. He had seen them suffer enough.
"My own good? But I'm totally fine minie. And he for sure knows that I would be more than fine if he is here beside me. Are you perhaps trying to hide something from me?" The younger questioned suspiciously.
"Jimin! Bring Taebear here. Breakfast is ready!" A voice interrupted their conversation. Saving Jimin from the younger's question.
"Oh! That's jin hyung Taetae. Let's go, you and the baby must probably be hungry now." Jimin said in one breath. This made the younger more suspicious of the short male. He knows that he was probably hiding something.
Teahyung just nodded his head and reach out his hand to Jimin's extended hand.
"Tae, why aren't you eating something? Don't you like the food? I would make something for you." Jin asked the spaced out younger.
The younger was just playing with his food and looking at it blankly. He doesn't want to eat food that wasn't prepared by Jeongguk. Moreover he was used of being feed by the ravennette.
"I'm sorry jinnie hyung. It's just I don't have the appetite to eat. May I go to our room now?" Taehyung said politely. He wants to be in the comfort of their bedroom, wherein the ravennette's smell was strongly lingers.
"No, Tae. You need to eat first. Jeongguk have make it clear to us that we should take care of you thoroughly. He will surely kill us if he've got to know that we didn't feed you. And think about your baby, it's not good for the baby if you skip your breakfast. So you better eat bub, I promise that right after you finish eating we will bring you to your bedroom" Jin tried coax the younger.
"Mmm ok hyung"
Right after eating Taehyung immediately went to their bedroom; of course with the assistance of Jimin and Jin.
"What do you want to do Taetae? Do you want us to watch a movie?" Jimin asked
"That's great idea Jiminie! What you say Tae?" Jin exclaimed
"Yeah I know right! Hehe" both males were laughing awkwardly because the pregnant male just look at them blankly.
" hyungs can you please call Gukkie for me? I-i wanna talk to him. I promise I will not take too long." Taehyung pleaded hesitantly, he doesn't have his own phone because he doesn't need one. He used Jeongguk's phone to entertain himself, moreover the ravennette had always been with him so he doesn't find smartphone that necessary until now.
Jin and jimin look at one another as if they are communicating through their eyes.
"Uhm of- of course bub! Here let me call baby daddy" jin stuttered and gulped hard.
"The number you have dial is out of reach, please try again later or leave a voicemail tootttt...." an automated reply from Jin's phone. He keeps on calling but just got a negative reply.
"Oh hehe maybe boss' is doing something jin hyung. That's why he isn't picking up his phone" jimin finally said after the 9th attempt of the oldest male.
"Sigh* it's alright hyung. Jiminie is right."
"Tae--"
"It's really ok hyungs. Can I please be alone for now?" Taehyung said softly not wanting to offend his hyungs.
"Okay bub, we will be outside if you need us okay?" Jin answered defeatingly.
After the both males left, Taehyung immediately went to their laundry basket, searching for the ravennette's recently used shirt because it will strongly smell like Jeongguk.
When he finally found it, he stripped out from his own clothes and wear the used shirt instead. He then settled himself on their bed comfortably.
He then tried to sleep again because he didn't get much sleep from last night but he still couldn't. He wants Jeongguk!
"Arghh where are you Jeongguk?!" He yelled in frustration
"You told us that you'll be just gone for awhile, but why aren't you still here?! Are you mad at me Gukkie? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to reject your proposal baby. I was just pranking you. I swear that I was going to say yes last, but your work interrupted our night!" The pregnant male continued to rant as a fresh batch of tears rolled down his beautiful face.
He was admiring and caressing his engagement ring that was beautifully wrapped around his middle finger. And his heart clenched everytime he remember how dejected the mob boss look when he said that he loves someone else. He just wants to slap himself for doing such prank on his lover. He knows how it feels when your special one loves another person that isn't you. It feels like you're being stab in the heart over and over again. And he exactly just made Jeongguk felt that way. How badly he wants to see the ravennette right now and tell him that no one could ever have his heart other than him. He belongs to him before, he belongs to him now and he will always belong to Jeon Jeongguk.
"Please come back Gukkie. I miss you already. I promise that I will stop punishing you. I love you so much baby, only you." Taehyung mumbled softly before falling into a deep slumber. He's pregnant so it's common for him to always sleep, specially now that he's being stress and upset.

"Hello, What's his status now?" The pretty male with a broad shoulders question the person on the other line of the call.
"Fortunately he's out of danger. The doctor manage to operate him successfully and luckily the bullet didn't went too deep into his chest because of some sort of hairpin necklace? he was wearing. But he was still unconscious up until now." The other person explained
"Sigh* that's great, but he needs to wake up as soon as possible. Taehyung has been asking for him and upset with the lack of his presence. And it's not good for him to be stress specially now that he's close to give birth."
"I understand Jin. I'm sure boss will wake up anytime soon"
"He should, I don't know how long I could hide this from tae--"
"Hide what Jin hyung?" A familiar voice cut the male off.
