"I heard that the senior college students will be assisting us in our swimming class. I know one of them and believe me guys, he is so hot. Literally, his abs are flaming." Dorothea said as she exclaimed how excited she was for our swimming class.

I bit into my vegetable sandwich without paying attention to what they were saying. It was just that I was beside them so I could hear their conversation. In all honesty, I don't really like going to school. I don't like studying, it was just my parents who forced me to study. They said it was for my own sake. Hell, school is making me crazy and wanting to end my life.

"Seriously, Dorthea, you were peeping in the swimming pool area?" Sussie said.

"Why not? My eyes need Vitamin A."

"Vitamin A?"

"Vitamin Abs, Sussie. Hindi mo ba alam yun? Palibhasa kasi puro ka aral." I can see in my peripheral vision that Sussie hit Dorthea with her general chemistry book.

"Kung hindi ako nag-aaral nang mabuti, wala kayong makokopyahan."

"Sabi ko nga. Aral well, Sussie girl." Then Dorthea faced me and said, "Congrats to your dad, Zara. How's the feeling of being the daughter of the governor?"

"It sucks," I said as I scrolled down my Instagram feed. Most of it was selfies of my celebrities' friends or posts about my political dad. I rolled my eyes as I saw some of his pictures helping those people who were affected by the recent typhoon.

I can say that my dad is a really good politician, but because of how dedicated he is to his work, he forgets that he has a daughter. Mas inuuna pa niya ang iba tao kasya sa nagkakaisang anak niya.

My friends and family call me Zara because I hate my full first name and especially my second name. I don't know why my parents named me after my late grandmother.

"It sucks being their dog. It irritates me that I should act like a good girl for their reputation. I wish I could do the things I like." I sighed again before I sipped at my strawberry shake.

"Like what?" Sussie interjected into the conversation.

"Doing drugs." I jokingly said while fixing my things because it was almost time for our next subject. Ah, I hate mathematics.

"Can I join?" Dorothea still kept up with my joke while Sussie was shaking her head. Luckily, there's Sussie to stop us from doing some stupid things.

"Don't come for my help when both of you become involved in drugs." Nauna na siyang lumakad sa amin habang kami ni Dorothea ay mahinang tumawa lamang sa sinabi niya at sumunod na rin agad.

As if I can do drugs, I'm scared of what my mom and dad might do with me. Baka itakwil nila ako or ipatapon sa malayong lugar. The heck, I can't take it.
