"Stop asking the same thing. Focus, Tazara."

"Bakit mo muna ako ginuhit? Siguro may crush ka talaga sa akin. Hindi mo tinanggi noon."

His jaw clenched as he was looking at me darkly. Para niya akong dudurugin sa mga tingin niya sa sobrang inis.. I just want to tease him, ang sungit niya lang!

"Show me what you've learned. Any strokes will do." aniya at tsaka lumayo sa akin papunta sa gilid ng pool.

I rolled my eyes at him, talagang hindi man lang niya sasagutin ang tanong ko. It was me whom he drew, I have the right to ask him why. Hindi ba?

I positioned my body horizontally and faced down. Using what I have learned about breathing I began to swim. Extending my arms from one side to other while my head remained in its neutral posture until I reached the end side of the pool.

Nang umahon ako ay nakatitig lamang ng seryoso sa akin si Isagani. Walang reaksyon ang kaniyang mukha.

Ano bang bago? It's almost one month since our first lesson, and he didn't even try to praise me. Kahit pilit ay wala ka talagang matatanggap sa kaniya.

"Kunting practice pa." He then exited the pool. Grabbed his towel and rubbed it across his damp hair.

"What? Tama na naman, ah!" I said as I walked in front of him.

"It's right but it wasn't enough."

Kailan magiging sapat sa kaniya? What should I do, should I also ask him to do night swimming tutors?

"What? You've got a date, right? I'm sure your boyfriend is expecting you."

Oh crap, Galen is anticipating me! How did I forget about it? Isagani is entirely to blame!

Nang dahil sa pagguhit niya sa akin ay naubos tuloy ang oras ko sa pagtatanong sa kaniya na hindi naman niya man lang sinagot!
