"Are you for real right now?"Wooyoung didn't even bother looking in the direction of the voice speaking to him. Instead he rubbed his tired eyes, and headed straight towards the changing room in the back of his workplace. The job at the supermarket had been changed with one at a nearby cafe, and although it still wasn't his dream-job, given that he had no clue what that actually would be anyway, it was still better than the last one.
His one co-worker however, did tend to get on his nerves.
"Not only are you late, again, but you show up looking like that?"
"Relax, Jongho, no one's gonna know with this stupid uniform we have to wear," Wooyoung replied with a snort, busy tying the small red scarf around his neck, which he swore made him look like a kids scout.
His co-worker's worries did seem be justified, when Wooyoung failed to cover up all the marks on his neck with the tiny scarf.
"Whatever."
Jongho huffed, heading back to the counter, leaving Wooyoung to roll his eyes in peace.
It was a quiet afternoon at the cafe, and Wooyoung was impatiently counting down the minutes until his shift ended. He had already wiped all the tables several times, his finest job as Jongho had judged him to be too much of a clumsy head to make the coffee orders.
But when his younger co-worker announced that he dared to go eat his lunch out back, given that there was only a few guests in the cafe and all of them had already gotten their order, Wooyoung was left alone for at least twenty minutes.
Standing behind the counter, scrolling through his phone which he had calculatedly placed behind the register, he was already bored out of his mind.
"Well, aren't you a sight for sore eyes?" A voice suddenly said, and Wooyoung looked up in confusion.
A tall, older male was standing on the other side of the counter. Dark, pushed back hair, and with an almost arrogant smile on his well-defined face. A face Wooyoung definitely had seen before, although it had been quite a while since the last time.
"Seonghwa?"
"I'm flattered that you remember me," Seonghwa chuckled, leaning in across the counter. "Can I get an Americano to-go, please?"
"O-of c-course," Wooyoung stuttered, and he wasn't sure which part of the older's words he was referring to.
The only thing he knew, was that his cheeks for certain were blushing hard, when he turned around to make the coffee. Seonghwa was still as handsome as ever, and their last encounter surely had left some unfulfilled desires.
"Actually," the older said when Wooyoung placed the white to-go cup in front of him. "I don't feel like coffee anymore. How about I take you out for a drink?"
"But I-I... I'm at work?"
Seonghwa raised a brow, tapping his fingers against the counter, while looking at Wooyoung with eyes that were seemingly already undressing him.
"How much do you make during one shift here?" he then asked.
"I... Around 100$?"
Wooyoung felt embarrassed confessing his pay, as he knew someone like Seonghwa possibly made more than that in one single hour.
"I see," Seonghwa then said, searching for something in the inner pocket of his blazer. "How about this then."
A small gasp flew from Wooyoung's lips, when the older placed 500$ on the counter with the most cavalier move ever. And although the money was much needed, Wooyoung wasn't quite sure how to feel about the situation.
"Take the rest of the day off. Now, let's go?"

"To be honest," Seonghwa said, with the edge of a Martini glass resting against his lower lip.
He had taken Wooyoung to a restaurant downtown, one that definitely was way too fancy for Wooyoung to ever step into by himself - and hadn't it been for Seonghwa, he knew that the outfit he was wearing wouldn't even get him near the door.
Dressed in the first and best outfit he was able to find that morning, Wooyoung had stumbled to work in an oversized hoodie and some black pants. The waiters surely gave him some strange side-eyeing glares, stripping away the last remains of his lacking self-confidence in such a nice place.
"I need to ask you a favor."
"W-what?"
The older's words pulled Wooyoung out of his thoughts, and he stared questioning at Seonghwa sitting opposite of him.
"There's this company trip coming up soon, and I need date. Come with me."
"Y-you want me to come with you? Why?"
It was hard to believe that someone like Park Seonghwa would be in need of a date, so desperately that he had to demean himself to asking out Wooyoung. Seonghwa had it all, money, power and last but definitely not least - the looks.
And as he sat there, casually leaned back in his black suit, it was impossible not to admire him - something which Wooyoung easily noticed that each and everyone in the restaurant did as well.
"I mean, why not? You get a free vacation, and I don't have to look like an idiot in front of my work partners. I've had enough of their judgmental looks you know, how they only think of me as a cold-hearted player, who will never settle down."
The older let go of a brief scoff, before sipping his drink slowly.
"Not that they're wrong though," he then added. "I'd just love to see the look on their faces when I actually bring someone. Someone as pretty as you."
A warm tickle spread inside of Wooyoung's stomach, when Seonghwa looked him straight in the eyes, and the memory of the night they had spend together years back, was suddenly playing like a movie in front of his eyes.
Seonghwa was not only handsome, he was sexy as hell, and he knew exactly what he was doing in bed. Had it not been for Yeosang, Wooyoung would probably have ended up craving to feel the dark haired older's touch again.
The offer was more than tempting, there was only one concern however...
"But... Won't-" Wooyoung cut himself off, pulling up his shoulders in an attempt to shield himself from the hurt he knew he was about to bring upon himself.
"- Yeosang be there?" Seonghwa finished the sentence, as he finished the cocktail as well.
He placed the empty glass onto the table, and an observant waiter came over right away, to pick it up and ask if they needed anything else. Seonghwa looked at Wooyoung, and instantly ordered both of them a drink - although Wooyoung politely had declined the first round.
"He will," the older then calmly said. "But if I have to be honest with you. He's been getting on my nerves lately."
"So?"
"So, it would be amusing to see his perfect facade crack when I bring you along."
Wooyoung frowned, if he didn't know better he would have thought that the two lawyers were the ones in their twenties, and not him. They surely loved their childish games - not that Wooyoung felt completely repelled by this particular one though.
In fact, he was somehow intrigued.
He had promised himself to stay away from Yeosang for good, but it seemed like the Universe had a different plan. And when that plan included someone as handsome as Park Seonghwa, it would simply be rude to decline.
"I apologize, if it is too much to ask for. I know the two of you dated for quite some time."
The conversation was briefly interrupted by the waiter returning with the two drinks, only staring at Seonghwa the entire time she was present at the table.
"You know what," Wooyoung said, straightening his back, and picking up the drink with a mischievous grin. "I'm in."
