General P.O.V:

Takemichi Hanagaki winced by the pain on his head. Rubbing the swollen part, he wondered where he was now. Looking around, he found himself lying on a bed. He took his time to recall some brief moments about the last scenario he was in... which was himself being shot by a woman on his wedding ceremony with Hinata, who turned out to be his ex-girlfriend. Then the pain should be in his chest, not in his head. It only meant...

He was still alive.

He checked around, it was not entirely like a hospital room. It was rather like a school's infirmary.

School...?

Before he could think any further, he saw someone entering. It was not just one person though.

"Akkun?! You guys... huh?!"

Takemichi saw his Mizo Mid friends and he got shocked. They were looking the same as they were in their middle school.

Did he leap to the past again?

"What's up, Takemichi? Are you feeling better now?" Akkun asked taking a chair.

"W-What happened to me?"

"You hit your head on a wall that caused you to faint." Yamagishi replied. "Man, were you daydreaming while walking?"

"T-That's..."

"Hey, you okay? Maybe we should let you rest a bit more?" Takuya concernedly said.

"Nah, I'm fine. I just need to clear my head."

"Okay, then we'll wait for you outside."

After his friends left, Takemichi remembered that his presumably ex-girlfriend held his hand after shooting him, and then he was sent back to the past again. He needed to know first how many years he had gone back, so he looked for his phone. His blue eyes widened in utter horror as the date said, '4th July, 2005'. He looked at the calendar in the room to double-check, which displayed the month of July in 2005.

He could understand about 4th July, since it was the same day on that future. But year 2005...?! Naoto mentioned that he could only go back to the same day... but now he just backtracked to the very year when it all began. When he checked his phone contacts, his did not find anyone from Toman, not even a single delinquent he had encountered before. That only could be concluded to one theory... all the timelines had been reset to the point of beginning.

"How's that even possible...?" Takemichi murmured. Going back to the past was already supernatural enough, but starting from the scratch... again? Was it because of a different person this time? That could be the only explanation, but it didn't happen with Mikey, whose hands sent Takemichi ten years back. However, only thing he could do for now was to repeat the right steps that he did in other timelines.

Speaking of the right steps, Takemichi had to meet Naoto to warn him about his own and his sister's future death. And then he had to meet Mikey and Draken through...

... Something felt wrong. Takemichi could not remember how he had his first encounter with the two toppers of Tokyo Manji Gang. Not only them, he knew Baji and Emma would die, he knew Kazutora would go to jail for 10 years, he knew Hakkai would try to kill his brother, he knew Kisaki would join Toman... but no matter how much he tried, Takemichi could not remember a single thing about what lead to those situations. He could remember that he had to save Draken from getting stabbed, but forgot the reason and the person who caused it. His face sweated by tremor, as he realized that he remembered all the persons he met, but forgot each of the events that happened in previous timelines. His memories were nothing but some jumbled up fragment of moments. Not only Takemichi had to start over, but also his all previous actions to save the future were forgotten.
