"Hey Erin, this is my girlfriend Izzy," I said as I hauled the first load of Izzy's stuff from my car into the apartment.

"Oh my god, you're so pretty!" Erin gushed, pulling a surprised Izzy into a hug. "You look so cute together! Does this mean more fun dinner nights?"

"Sure thing!" I replied. "We'll definitely figure that out."

"I can cook, if that helps," Izzy admitted softly.

"You can? That's awesome! I'm keeping you around for sure!" I pulled her into me with a side hug. "Come on, let's get the rest of your stuff and get you settled in. Then maybe we can have a movie night?"

"I never say no to movies," Erin announced. "I'll get popcorn going!"

It only took two more trips to get the rest of Izzy's stuff plus the camera equipment from the car, and we stuck it in my room until we sorted it out. I didn't know what to do with the big envelope, so I just put it on my dresser. The smell of popcorn permeated the apartment when we went back out to the kitchen to find Erin dumping a bunch of popcorn into a pair of bowls.

"Here, one for you and one for me." She handed Izzy a bowl and led the way to the couch. "Does anyone have a movie preference?"

"I'll watch anything," I replied. I just wanted to cuddle with Izzy, so the movie would be secondary.

"Izzy, what about you?" Erin wondered.

"Umm. I haven't seen very many movies, so you guys can pick," she replied shyly.

I wrapped her up in my arms, pulling her into my lap. "I'll make sure you get caught up on all the good stuff. I'll keep you happy."

She rested her head on my shoulder. "You already do. So much so that it terrifies me," she whispered so Erin couldn't hear her.

I almost cried when she said that. I'd been scared all day that I was feeling more than I should be so fast, but to know that she was feeling the same way let me know that we were in the same boat. "Izzy, me too. Truly. I just want to keep holding you and see where this goes, but I can't remember being happier."

"So do you have any suggestions?" Erin called over to us, evidently thinking we were discussing movies.

I had a sudden burst of insanity. "Yes. We're going to watch the silliest movie ever, the Rocky Horror Picture Show!"

Erin looked at me as though I had a second head growing on top of my original one. "Isn't that the campy Time Warp one?"

"Yes, it most certainly is. But when you have no idea what you want to watch, then Tim Curry killing it in Sweet Transvestite is a good start."

Erin shrugged and then tracked down the movie online and pressed the play button. Yes, the movie is sheer craziness, but sometimes that is what you need. Watching something that was not at all serious allowed my brain to disconnect and concentrate on the girl in my arms. She alternated cute giggles, campy groans, and silly comments about the movie. "Does he not know how to drive? I want to do that dance! Oh fuck, he looks good in that corset! Who is the guy on the motorcycle? Did they just eat him? Wait, they're aliens now? Oh my god, what did I just watch?"

At the end of it, I couldn't help but tickle Izzy's ribs, making her squeal in my lap before she clapped my shoulder to get me to stop. "I'm sorry, I just love your laugh."
