Ricky and Gina have always had a crush on eachother ever since they have always known; but neither of them have acted upon their feelings. Could this summer be different. Or is it too late?

I felt less anxious sitting next to Ricky, I have always felt comfortable; I guess all my worries seem to fade away. Allthough things have changed this summer; Nini is off to songwriting camp.. he is avaliable now. I gaze at him as he sings his heart out. He barely notices that I am looking at him.
My phone pings; It's my Ma'

I roll my eyes and put the phone down; Ricky lets out a laugh.
"Ma' Porter?" He raises his eyebrows.
"How did you guess" I strug at him.
He gets closer to me; he looks into my eyes.
"I know you Gina Porter." He nudges my arm.
"And I know you Richard Bowen." I nudge back.
We both blush at eachother.
Third person
"Earth to lovers." the east high gang stop singing.
The whole campfire feels the tension happening across from them. Ej stands up and ushers Ricky to move over. Gina rolls her eyes once more.
"Ej how many times have I told you.. I am not intrested." she looks across at Ricky who is the other side of Ej. the pair smile at eachother.
"Umm.. Ricky has barely just broken up with Nini; it has only been 5 days! And look at him going after Gina." Ej snaps.
Ricky stares at Ej;
"Actually for your information.." Ricky thinks about what he is going to say.
"Ricky.." Gina looks over at him.
He gets up and walks off towards the walk way towards the water.
"Really Ej.. you could see he didn't want to talk about Nini; why did you?" Gina also walks off towards the walk way.
