☆ New Home ☆

After months of knowing Kanna and going to her house I still feel a but nervous coming in. Though they are cool with me I feel as if one day I won't be welcomed in and would have to leave. I mean it always happens with my parents so coming here always gives me anxiety.

"I'm here!"

Toru opens the door and welcomes you. You take off your shoes and walk inside. "Kanna and Ms. Kobayashi went to the store so they be back in a bit." Toru informs you. You thank her and sit on the couch nervous. Toru notices and sits next to you.

"Is everything ok?" "Mhm." Toru turns you towards her to make eye contact. "Seriously whats the matter. You look nervous and uncomfortable. You been like that since you first came here." You looked down and decide to open up to Toru. "I just feel as if I don't belong here. And that as welcoming as you are now, I feel as if one day I won't be welcomed anymore."

"Why would we do that to you? You've done nothing wrong and Kanna adores your company. We've even met your parents so you have full permission to come here whenever you like."

"I know but, when my parents fight randomly they tell to get out the house and go to the other parents house back and forth its hard to stay comfortable because I never know when they might kick me out because of frustration. I mean after a back and forth run they call each other and decide were I I would stay for the night or week."

Toru frowns and hugs me tight. "You will never have to feel that way anytime you enter this house. In fact when you enter you should say I'm home rather than anything else that's formal!"

Tears flow down my face as Toru smiles with comfort. "Lady Toru? Have you ever felt like this?" "Mhm. I've felt like no matter where I went it never felt like home. Until I meant Miss Kobayashi. She allowed me the live with her giving me a home and someone to love. Thats when I realized that I can finally say I have a home. So you can say I'm home anytime you enter the door. And we shall always say welcome home or welcome back."

I smiled from Toru's words and wiped away the tears. "Thank you Lady Toru." She nodded her head and went to the kitchen. I laid down on the couch and soon fell asleep.

Hours which seems like moment went by and I felt a light poke on my cheek and soon voices followed. "Kanna you shouldn't poke him you might wake him up." "But Miss Kobayashi, its been a while since he was sleeping and I wanna play."

I opened my eyes and saw Kanna it front of me looking at Miss Kobayashi while Miss Kobayashi noticed my awakening. I sat myself up as Kanna hugged me. "Your finally awake!" I rubbed my eyes and smiled. I rubbed Kanna's head as she continued to hug me.

"Oh, sorry I didn't realize I fell asleep." Lady Toru smiled, "Its alright your mom called to see if you were ok and asked if you can stay with us for a few days. And she's apologized for making you get involved with the argument."

"Yay more playtime with Y/n!" Kanna jumped on top of my and snuggled me close while rubbing her cheek against mine. I blushed from the hug attack but smile at Toru and said thank you.

Kanna dragged me to her room and we played games and slept together. Ms. Kobayashi even bought some sweets for me and Kanna to have and to be honest she treated me like I was her kid and it made me feel warm inside.

A week later my dad apologized and took me to his house. "Sorry kiddo Toru told us that me and your mom's arguing makes give you anxiety so from now on whenever we argue feel free to go over to their house." You smiled and nodded your head. You finally learn how nice it is to have a home when your welcomed no matter what.
