For once I was happy Rylee possibly went home. She would freak out even more when she saw Kelly was walking around the paddock. Which I kind of expected because we were in Brazil which was her home country after all.
I really wasn't in the right state of mind. I missed Rylee, I needed her. I had to talk to Christian and just tell him the truth. I didn't care anymore, she was the one I wanted and everyone had to accept that.

I walked through the paddock when I saw Charles. I walked up to him, shaking his hand. "How are you mate?" He nodded and smiled. "Little tired but good. How are you?" He looked tired but I guess you could say the same thing about me. "Same mate. I have a question though and I need you to be honest." He looked at me confused. He didn't say anything he just nodded. "Did you know about Rylee? Who she was?" He didn't need to answer, the look in his eyes told me everything I needed to know. "Yes I knew, Charlotte told me the first time I met her" I nodded. I kind of expected that. I wasn't mad, I knew Charlotte probably told him not to talk to me about it. "I am sorry Max, I wanted to tell you so many times but it wasn't my place." I smiled at him. "Don't worry mate, it's all good. Have you seen her around lately?" He started shaking his head. I guess she really left without telling me. She didn't even give me the chance to explain everything. Not that there was much explaining to do because I didn't really know why Christian mentioned Kelly when he knew we weren't dating anymore.

I was tired, the only thing that kept me going was the unlimited supply of Red Bulls. I just wanted to go to sleep but I had media duties. Marketing set up another game for Checo and I. It was a game with questions about Brazil and the food. It was a fun game and it actually made me think about something else than Rylee.

It made me think about Kelly.

Kelly, my ex who just walked up to me, pulling me into her arms. "Hi champion, I missed you." I hugged her back but quickly took a step back. "Kelly... how are you?" She looked happy I guess and I bet she could see I wasn't. "I'm fine, I actually wanted to invite you to a dinner at my place. My family is gonna be there too." I sighed and started shaking my head. I loved her family but it really wasn't a good idea to spend it with them or with Kelly.

Just as I was about to say no I saw Penelope standing behind her smiling. "Yes Maxie should come" Kelly picked her up and I saw her smiling. How could I say no to P? I knew I was gonna regret this but I didn't want to disappoint her.
"Fine I'll be there."
