I tried calling and texting Rylee but she ignored me. Why didn't she believe me? I never lied to her but then again, here I was, walking Kelly's house with flowers in my hand. It looked like I actually was dating her.

I walked up to the door, I looked around. Maybe I should just go away. Before I had the time to turn around, the door opened. Kelly was standing there smiling. "Max, I'm so happy you came." She pulled me into her arms. I hugged her back but quickly took a step back. "And you brought flowers, you're the sweetest." She grabbed the flowers and grabbed my hand to pull me inside.
There was no way back now.
Everyone was already sitting at the table, looking at Kelly and I walking inside, holding hands and she was smiling from ear to ear holding the flowers. Even I would think we were dating if I didn't know better.

The dinner was actually nice. I enjoyed spending time with her family. They were all supporting me to win the championship. No pressure, they just believed in me which felt nice.
I wonder if I could ever sit on a dinner table with Rylee's family.

At the end of the evening, everyone started to leave. I stayed for a little while, to help Kelly clean up a little bit. After everything was done, I looked at her smiling. "Thank you for inviting me Kelly, I really needed this." She put her hand on my arm and smiled. "You know you're always welcome here Max" I nodded as I looked at her. I wanted to walk to the door but she grabbed my arm again. "Max can you stay with me for a while? I don't like to be alone with P at night" I sighed. She has been nice to me all evening, I could stay for a little while longer. I nodded "Sure. Let's watch a movie together." I turned around, walking back to the living room.

We were both laying down on the couch. We finished a bottle of wine while watching a movie. It was actually getting late so I sat back up. Kelly looked at me, putting her hand on my chest. "You're not going home this late and you drank a lot. You can stay here." Staying the night at your ex's place didn't seem like a great idea, but I was feeling tired and kinda drunk.

I nodded. "Thanks, I am actually quite tired indeed" she smiled and got up from the couch. "Then let's go to sleep. You need your rest" I got up as well and followed her as if I didn't know her place. "I am gonna change, I'll be back in a minute" she said and I just nodded. I looked around her bedroom. Nothing has changed since I last been here, even our picture was still on the nightstand. I took off my pants and shirt and got into her bed. I quickly checked my phone but still no text from Rylee. I sighed.

Kelly walked in the bedroom. She looked at me smiling as she got into bed next to me. Did she really had to wear her sexiest underwear? I just smiled, making more room for her. I didn't want to touch her whatsoever but it didn't matter how much space I gave her, she still went to lay as close as possible to me. "Goodnight champion" she leaned over to me, giving me a kiss on the cheek. "Goodnight Kelly, thank for letting me st..." I couldn't finish my sentence. She pressed her lips against mine. I knew I had to push her away, to tell her to stop.
I don't know why but I kissed her back.. I even pulled her on top of me. What the fuck was I doing?
