That morning, they awoke to a strange environment. It smelled too sweet to be in the jungle, and the sound of rushing water could not be heard. Instead, the sound of something gurgling replaced the roaring water sound.  A thick, unnatural fog swirled around them. The ground was soft and squishy, brown and humid. Sam slowly opened his eyes.

"Wha- Where are we?" Carla, lying next to him, moaned. "Carla?" He said, sitting up. "What?" Carla groaned, not knowing she was in another place.

"Carla! Wake up!" Sam rushed his words, shaking her with his foot.

"Woah... Where are we?" Carla said in disbelief.

"I don't know. But i have a hunch. Someone moved us. And I dont know why."

Carla sat up and looked around frantically.

"All of our supplies are gone! Who could have taken our things and moved us?"

"We did." A deep,  intimidating voice arose from the thick fog. "You are forbidden to enter the Marsh and take back the Frootie Gem."

"The what?"

"Dont play dumb with me, yellow one. You were obviously sent by King Dragonfruit to steal it back. Not this time. This Island will return to its former, darker glory."

Before Sam and Carla could speak, a thick strap was tied around their muzzles and eyes. They tried to scream, but their voices only came out muffled. Then, everything went dark.
