She had slipped past most of the security pretty easily, some she had to show her fake pass to, but other than that...she'd have to talk to him about that when she gets back... Any-who! Any one that saw her would not know who she was, because she didn't exactly belong there. She was on her own. All by herself, on a mission to see the man she loved and save his life.
Her true name will remain unknown because she couldn't risk him asking any questions. She was no super hero, she wasn't intellectually advanced, she wasn't really all that special. But, she was chosen because she knew Michael. She knew how to make him listen. How to get it through his head, what needed to be. Thats how she was special, she was special to him.
At the moment, she just snuck into one of his concerts. She was wearing a black muscle shirt, with dark blue jeans, black boots, and her wedding ring on a chain around her neck. The chain was long so that it could hide inside her shirt. But all in all she looked to be someone, ready to go out. She looked normal.
She stood just where she needed to stand, so that she was chosen to go on stage. Thats what had to happen. Her long blond wig, was shining in the light and she was screaming like the other fans, to keep her facade. When she was chosen she ran up to him and wrapped her arms around his waist. He had no idea who she was, she was just another fan, and that made her choke up slightly.
"I love you, Michael." She whispered those words in his ear, it made him stop singing for a second because he could hear the truth in how she said it. He felt like what she meant was so true and she somehow actually knew him. He couldn't explain how, but thats just how it felt.
"I love you most." He whispered it into her ear and was not shocked by the sob that followed. Most fans cried. He continued the song and swayed back and forth with her in his arms. She knew the time for them to separate was coming so, she pulled away to look him in the eyes.
"Michael, I cant explain to you everything that you need to know. I cant tell you what you want to hear. I wont do it. But I need you to listen to me. Nod if you understand."
He nodded as he continued to sing.
"Michael, Im going to get straight to the point. You need to get the sleep that you need. You also need to stop taking drugs to help you sleep. It wont end well, I promise. Just promise that you will take better care of your body. Even if it means that you have to delay or cancel a show. Please do it. Your family needs you."
Michaels shocked expression made her smirk but when she saw that the guards were coming to get her off the stage, she quickly leaned in and placed a chase kiss on his lips, then turned around and left with the guards, without a fight.
The guards were both shocked and relieved that they didn't have to deal with another screaming fanatic. Michael watched her leave without making any noise. Because 1) She had shocked him with what she said. 2) Her kiss, no matter how small and modest it was, made him forget the lines to the song. He knew that he needed to talk to her and get to know the mysterious woman, so he motioned for the guards to have her wait in his dressing room.
She wasnt surprised by this, in fact she was prepared for it to happen. She knew that Michael would want to know her, she even depended upon the fact that he would do that. But, she also knew that Michael would want to know how she knew about the drugs. No one knew about them yet. And she was prepared with a explanation.
The only thing that disappointed her about all of this was that she would have to lie to Michael about it all. She promised that she wouldn't, so this was going to put a lot of pain into him being around her.
After the show ended, Michael said his farewells to his fans. Said hello to those who had backstage passes, signed their photos, gave kisses on cheeks, hugs the whole shabang. Then he went into his dressing room, completely forgetting about the mysterious woman that had fallen asleep in the corner of the room on a chair.
He sighed and rubbed his eyes. Then, with his eyes still closed, he began to undress from his onstage costume. He was in nothing but his trousers when he finally opened his eyes and looked in the mirror, only to see her sleeping figure in its reflection. He yelped and turned around quickly, knocking a few things over while doing so.
She stirred and mumbled something, then got comfortable again. Michael put on a white T-shirt, then moved closer to her, kneeling in front of her, pretty close to her face.
"Im sorry, What did you say?"
"Michael, honey, stop being so loud and get in bed. Im trying to sleep."
He was completely confused, and blushing because of how she spoke. He cleared his throat and gently shook her awake. She groaned and opened her eyes. He was immediately captivated by her eyes. They were strange. They were like a rusty-auburn color, which made him wonder where she was from. She yawned and rubbed her eyes.
He stood up when she did and watched as she went to his mirror and began to fix her tired face. Then when she was done, she turned to him and smiled a sad smile. He felt an odd urge to make her happy enough to smile a happy smile. The thing that he didn't know was that the reason she was smiling like that was because of him. The memory of them doing this before, being in a situation where she wakes up in his dressing room and he is standing there watching her-but this time he was looking at her with curiosity, not love.
She looked down and breathed in deeply. When she blew it out, she rolled her shoulders and smiled at him, completely erasing the woman he had just witnessed.
"So, Whats up doc?"
He laughed at her reference, which made her smile and giggle also. But then he remembered why he had had her brought in here. He once again cleared his throat and composed himself.
"Um, Id like to talk with you about what you said on stage."
"Okay. Just know that some of your questions I can not answer."
"Okay. Well, lets start with your name. What is your name?"
"My name.....is..Minnie."
"Really?" He asked her with a incredulous tone.
"Yes. You have a problem with my name?"
"No, its just I have never heard of someone with the name Minnie. Only the mouse."
"Well, My parents are disney fanatics. Anything else you'd like to know?"
"Yeah, How did you know about the, the um, the, d- the-
"Sleeping Medication?"
"yeah."
"I guess that I can answer that question. I was told by someone that cares for you a lot. I cant tell you who, but I will tell you that I was. I don't want you to be angry. I also don't want you to simply kick me out. I chose to come here on my own. I care for you a lot and Id rather not see someone I care for be lost to something like this, not again. I understand that your whole life you were controlled in some way, but doing this is not the way to gain that independence. All you are doing is hurting yourself. Look, I know that nothing Im saying is actually going to make a lot of sense, well, at least now in this time it doesn't. But one day, you will thank me for coming here. Im also sorry to say, but I have to go."
She turned and left the room. Michael was left deep in his own thoughts. He was thinking about what this mysterious woman had said. She cared for him, and it didn't seem to just stop at a fans care, it seemed much much deeper than that. She also said that she had lost someone before to drugs. He thought about how he wanted to get to know this woman, figure her out.
He turned toward the door to see if he could find her, but when he looked out into the long hallways, she was no where to be seen. He cursed himself for not getting any information from her other than her name. So, in thought once again he sat at his vanity mirror and looked down. Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a paper that hadn't been there before. He picked it up and read it.
So I know that you may have more questions for me. Which is understandable. I mean if a strange woman came up to me and told me that she cared for me and that she knew one of my secrets, Id be curious and a little cautious. Along with that I also know that you were to deep in thought about what I said, to realize that you hadn't got a way to contact me. So just to be nice I am going to leave you a way to get that information.
Tuesday evening, I will be waiting at the park. Lets say about 2ish. If you want to come and find me, I'll be waiting..
See you then,
Minnie.
He groaned because she didn't simply just give him her number. But he smiled because that meant she did want to see him again and have a conversation with him. He finished getting ready, then went home.
