--Sanemi's POV--
Sanemi sighed as he patrolled his assigned area; he was bored out of his mind, and there had been no sightings of any demons anywhere. Suddenly, he heard something behind him and sensed the one presence he'd wanted since the begining, so he unshealthed his sword eagerly.
Grinning, he turned around the face the demon, who snarled at him.
His grin turned feral as he lunged at the demon, unleashing one of his techniques. The demon seemed to teleport away from Sanemi's attack.
So speedy. This'll be fun!
Sanemi thought as he turned around to see the demon lunging at him.
Thinking quickly, he immediently got into his stance and took a breath.
'Wind Breathing. Second form. Claws-Purifying Wind.'
A simple technique, but an effective one. The demon was slain in under 15 seconds. A new personal record for Sanemi.
He grinned maniacally as he watched the demon's body decay under his gaze. After sheathing his sword, Sanemi kicked at the remaining ashes and walked away. lol
After, say, an hour of walking/patrolling around his area, Sanemi gave in for the night and went to his estate. That was another long walk, but this one only have an hour.
Sanemi saw Iguro on his was back to his estate, and they exchanged a few words and then carried along on their ways. Sanemi finally made it to his estate, and walked inside.
He placed his katana(+sheath or whatever you want) on a stand, and took off and placed his haori down on a table. Sanemi heard some noises from a room, so he walked over to said room and cleared his throat loudly.
'Aniki! You're back-! And so soon!'
'What the fuck are you doing here, idiot, I told you to find somewhere else to stay. Go live with your stupid ass forgetful boyfriend, for all I care. Or the streets.'
'Himejima~Sensei told me to stay here, Aniki..! And Muichiro~Kun doesn't stay at his estate often!'
'I don't fucking care. You can stay tonight, fine. But as soon as the fucking sun rises, your annoying ass is out of my estate.'
'Er- okay!'
---blah blah blah, they slept and then sanemi kicked poor genya out of the wind estate, all that stuff---
Sanemi got ready in a hurry, seeing as he was going to be late for a Hashira Meeting that his crow had just called. He strapped his sword+sheath to his belt and quickly ran to Headquarters.
Surprisingly, he wasn't the last hashira there like he thought he was going to be. Just one hashira was missing, and Sanemi noticed it almost immediately;
Tomioka Giyuu was absent from a Pillar meeting, which had never happened before.
Walking over to Iguro, Sanemi started whispering loudly to his friend. 'Where's Tomioka? Normally he's one of the first people here, the weirdo.'
'I do not know, and I do not care.' The Serpent hashira replied in a cold voice. 'Where ever that idiot is, may he know that he is missing an entire Hashira Meeting.'
'The Master has arrived.'
The two daughters of Kagaya Ubuyashiki, the Demon Slayer Corps leader, announcer as they opened the (pls what are the doors called) and the Master himself walked out.
'Greetings, my children.' His peaceful voice traveled around the clearing, soothing each and every hashira.
'Hello, Master. It is good to see you in good health.' The stone hashira said before anyone else could.
--After the Hashira Meeting--
'Shinazugawa, Iguro. Please stay. I have something to say for the both of you.'
'Okay, Oyakata~Sama.' The two men said in unison.
Once the other hashira had left, the Master sighed.
'Boys, Tomioka has been injured by Upper Moon Two. He isn't here because his crow was injured and passed before telling me where Tomioka was injured. (THIS IS ALL AN AU) I need you both to go find him and return him safely.'
'Right.' Sanemi said in response. He thought he remembered Tomioka telling him where his mission would be, so he would go there.
Iguro and Sanemi left the Masters estate and began discussing where they would find Tomioka. In the end, they chose to go where Sanemi thinks Tomioka would be, and they set off.
