In a battle with a demon, Muichiro had been a bit careless since he hadn't gotten as much sleep as normal.
His movements were slower, and overall just not as good as normal. He took a wrong step, and although he did his best to dodge the demon claws coming for his face, most of his long hair got cut off.
He paused from his movements, and turned to his his locks on the ground.
'..You asshole. Look what you've done.'
The demon only grinned at the teenagers obvious annoyance, though his smirk didn't last not a moment more.
Muichiro lunged, wide awake now, and quickly cut his head off. He sighed, and turned back to the spot in which his hair had fallen.
Sheathing his katana, he walked away from his hair and towards a lake. Once he got there, he crouched down to see his reflection and grimaced slightly.
How would his boyfriend react to this? Genya always enjoys playing with Muichiro's long locks..
The teenager sighed, then stood back up.
'Ginko?' He spoke out softly to his crow, who was fluttering around above him.
'Caw! What is it?'
'Where's Genya? Can you fly around and find him?'
'Okay, Tokito. Caw!'
She flew off in a hurry, quick to find where Muichiro's boyfriend was.
--Around 10 Minutes Later--
'Tokito! I have found the boy you asked for! Caw! He followed me over!'
The young hashira, who was sitting down at the lakes shore, stood up when his crow spoke. 'Thank you, Ginko.'
Genya came running through a couple seconds later, extremely out of breath due to the fact he chased after Ginko the entire way.
'Mu.. Muichiro! Are you-? Oh-! What happened to you're hair, dear?' The taller walked over to the shorter.
'A demon cut it. It feels weird now, my head is lighter. Do you think I look weird without my long hair?'
'Not really. You look just as pretty as you were before, if not prettier!'
Genya smiled and kissed his lovers cheek. Muichiro smiled slightly at the other boy.
'I thought you might not like me anymore. I was scared you were going to break up with me.'
'What? Over your hair? Mui, I wouldn't do that!'
'I realize that now. It seems foolish now.'
Genya smiled at the shorter boy, and picked him up. Muichiro smiled softly and wrapped his arms around the tallers neck and nuzzled into his neck.
'I love you, Gen.'
'I love you too, Mui!'
