--Giyuu's POV--
Giyuu didn't know where he was, but he did know that his body hurt like hell.
He realized that he couldn't move, due to some Blood Demon Art that had made him drowsy and unable to focus. Being facedown in what he thought was grass, the ravenette thought that this was rock bottom.
He was probably going to be killed, and then he wouldn't be able to express his feelings to a certain someone. That, he realized, would be rock bottom; not being able to tell the one he loved how he felt.
All of a sudden, he began regaining the feeling in his arms and legs. He could twitch his fingertips, he could wiggle his toes. It was a start, Giyuu supposed.
He guessed that the demon in which had attacked him had left, seeing as he could now move. That would be disappointing to tell to the Master. He failed his mission.
While the feeling was still flooding into his limbs, he managed to sit up into some kind of sitting position. As the feeling reached his knee, he gasped out and almost threw up at the awful sensation of pain rushing through his body from his leg.
Glancing down at it, Giyuu realized his leg was bent at a strange angle. An angle it wasn't supposed to. It made him sick, just sparing it a quick look, and he looked away and retched on the grass a couple feet from him.
Not feeling better in the slightest, Giyuu realized he could move fully now and stood up shakily. Looking around, he realized he was surrounded by forest, forest, and even more forest.
He limped over to a tree, ripped off a smaller limb of said tree, and got to work creating a makeshift splint for his broke leg.
Once he had finished with that, he began limping in the way Giyuu thought he should go, hoping it was the right direction.
He barely took three steps when a certain someone crashed into him, making him and the other person fall onto the ground.
'Eh-?! Shinazugawa~San-?!' Giyuu exclaimed, not believing that the man he was just thinking about appeared out of the blue.
The Wind Hashira, not realizing what had just happened, only lay on top of Giyuu. Giyuu could feel his face heating up, but his leg interupted these thoughts with a loud stab of pain.
Yelling out, Giyuu shoved Sanemi off of himself the best he could, tears welling in his blue eyes.
'What's wrong-oh.'(if you couldnt tell, which is understandable bc i kinda suck, sanemi just noticed giyuus leg and how its bent weirdly)
Sanemi stood up
quickly, and then reached down and picked up the ravenette bridal style. Consumed by the stabs of pain his leg was shooting through his entire body, Giyuu let out a injured sound as he clung on tightly to the one who carried him.'Iguro! I found him!' Sanemi yelled out to the Serpant Hashira. Moments later, Iguro dropped onto the ground from a tree.
'Let's go, then. I don't want to be here any longer than I have to...What happened to his leg-?!'
'It's broken, obviously. We need to get him to Kocho. His head is bleeding too, on his forehead.'
Oh, his head was bleeding? How fun. Giyuu didn't know what caused him to bleed, but he found it funny that the redness of the dark liquid was running into his eyes. As he giggled, Sanemi began running with him in his arms to the Butterfly Mansion.
Giyuu's giggles became louder, until he was laughing softly. Sanemi and Iguro both gave him cautious looks, and then looked at each other and came to a silent agreement.
As he ran out of breath, Giyuu's laugh died out quickly. He lay in Sanemi's arms, panting softly, until a hand hit against his neck and the world went dark.
--Sanemi's POV--
Is he delirious? Most likely. Loss of blood, it makes sense. As Sanemi leaped into the trees (so he could jumo branch to branch like Shinobu in season one), he held Giyuu closer to his chest.
He couldn't drop him now, could he? It would be funny if he did, but Kocho would be mad.
<Maybe 10 minutes later/When they got to the Butterfly Mansion>
'Shinazugawa~San! What happened to Tomioka~San? Oh, dear!' Shinobu exclaimed when Iguro and Sanemi walked into the mansion.
'He got attacked. Treat him now, and shut up about it.' Sanemi said, moving past the Insect Hashira to go put the unconcious Giyuu in the infirmary.
During this time, the sleeping hashira woke, squirming slightly in Sanemis arms. He looked rather cute like this, in his arms, as Sanemi thought. Then he quickly sliced the thought in half.
He was a hashira, he couldn't be thinking about love. Especially not long after Shinobu's sister, Kanae, died.
Placing Giyuu down in a cot, he pulled up a chair and sat next to the cot he had just placed Giyuu in. He watched as Giyuu's eyes open, his beautiful ocean colored eyes. Sanemi thought about them often, without realizing it.
Giyuu mumbled something, and then Shinobu walked in with bandages and medicine and whatever else she needed.
'Shinazugawa~San, you may leave now. I need to treat Tomioka~San!' Shinobu said in her sweet voice.
Sanemi never liked her voice. It was sickenly sweet, and fake. He knew that for a fact, his mother used it to try and pursuade his father to go to sleep, not his it children, the entire deal.
It was probably the only reason he didn't like hanging around Shinobu. As he stood up, he cast a final glance at Giyuu, who's eyes watched him go.
In his eyes, however, Sanemi could have sworn he saw sadness as he left.
