No Mountain High Enough (A Yogscast Fanfiction)

Chapter 5

*Lyra's P.o.V*

I sat in the empty room, like I did everyday from Monday, preparing the process of being Mark's soulmate. I still wasn't sure about doing it, but I must so just was going to! I mean, I am only a cub and this could possibly kill me, if not it would permanently damage me and, or, Mark if it went wrong. It also has to be just me and him in the room or I could be binded with two minds and that would also kill me, to much information and stuff going into my small brain. I bounded out of the room and past Mark's, he wasn't in there, good! I needed some two close items of his. Not the quickest option but it's more safer than the other one.

I trotted (Hehe, I said Trott! Get it? No, maybe my dad?..) into his room and found an image of him with a female two legs with mousey Brown hair and blue eyes and a small two legs with something on sayings "Daddy's little monkey" even though it looked nothing like a monkey on the side, "I could use that! Now one more thing" I thought to myself. I searched around and found a thing with read "The Office CEO" which by the looks of it has some liquid in it(I don't know if they have this or not :P) I then drew a diamond shape with some salt I'd found earlier, on the floor and placed the two items on opposite corners from watch other "Three more things to collect! Two will be easily, the crystals not so much" I plucked a piece of hair from my tail and placed it on one of the other corners. I picked up the golden necklace my mum gave me once, I sighed and placed it on the last corner "now for the crystal!" I squeezed through a gab in the open window and jump onto the floor below.

Soon I can back But sadly with no crystal. I walked down the hallway when a familiar scent reached me and I heard shouting. I ran to see the ginger two legs on the ground, unconscious with his friends beside him and one of the evil two legs. Wait?! How did they get here? He turned away from the shortest one, who was shouting at him, and grinned at me

"There you are, you little rat! It's me Gale, don't you remember?" He growled. My ears dropped and I ran, with him on my tail, into Mark's room "Trying to get a soulmate, are you rat? Ha I don't think so! You don't have a crystal, and if you want it your gonna have to get it!" He pulled out a purple crystal from his pocket. I bared my teeth but it wasn't much of a threat to him as I was only just a cub. Gale stepped forward into the middle of the ritual image. He didn't seem to notice but thankfully I did

"Sujungti iš sielos, leiskite mums būti vienas, siela kartu su amžinai. Leiskite mums būti vienas!" (Lithium for "Combine out souls, let us be one, souls combined last forever. Let us be one!") Then the diamond outline, with the items on it, and the Crystal began to glow, getting brighter and brighter by the second.

Once the light died down I opened my eye. Nothing had changed, everything was still it it's place like before

" Ha! It didn't work! Now your coming with me!" Gale went to pick me up but was stopped by Mark and the others from before running in

"Dont you even dare touch her or I'm calling the police!" Mark yelled

"Yeah, right. What is that gonna do!"

"I'll call the police unless you leave!" Gale opened his mouth to say something but was interrupted by something ringing. I could hear what sounded like a deep voice saying "Leave them Gale, we know where she is hiding and what she is doing. That's enough for now" Gale groaned and walked out of the door

"I'm coming for you rat! And your not getting away next time!!" He called and just after there was a slam.

"Hey guys what's this?" All of us turned to see Mark crouch down and touch something.

*3rd Person*

As soon as Mark touched the item both he and Lyra froze, standing straight and, not breathing and the only thing moving was there eyes which were going from side to side as though they were reading a book. The three Hats looked at each other in confusion

"Turps? Hello, Mark? Earth to Mark?" Ross said as he waved his hand in front of Mark, not making any difference

"It's happening to the fluff ball as well" Trott exclaimed. Rozs shrugged and when back to trying to snap Mark back to reality.

Meanwhile the statue like Mark was seeing much different things than he would have done any other day, he was seeing images of animals but not just any animals, lion mountains, tigers, cheetahs any bigcat you could name, all standing together under one big tree greeting and conversing with one another, then the scene changed to a smaller den like place with two adult mountain lions with three little babies ones running around, all looking them same yet different at the same time. It then changed again and again and again, all happy memories until the next one played, it was the whole place on fire, dead creatures everywhere, men shooting and killing everything in its path, everything looked so big so this scene must have been seen from a little creature, it was running away. But then it changed again to a still image of the assisted from before except this time it was split into eofht sections, all different Wildcats only thing was, nearly all them were faded away, only just advisable. But one sections was slightly more viewable but still faded, this section had a group of mountain lions in. Then it all faded away

As Mark was seeing these things Lyra was also having the same situation but some very different images, most of Mark with people around him, smiling and hugging, probably having a good time. There was a picture of him with a woman on their wedding day. One of the images of a scan of a baby and then the next was him holding that baby, looking as happy as ever. Unlike what Mark had seen none of these memories were bad, all happy and with smiling people. And just like Mark, it all faded away.

Mark and Lyra unfroze from their positions, the three sirs still puzzled as to what had happened. Lyra smiled to herself and looked Mark in the eyes

"Hello Mark Turpin.."

Well, that's that done. I've considered making a update time thingy but Idk, maybe but I probably won't stick to it xD anyways hope you enjoyed and see you next chapter
