Chapter 4- Deal.

Ink had been in the cell for about 2 hours, but to him it felt like ages. He wanted to get out, feeling claustrophobic.
He soon hears footsteps, walking closer and closer. He backed up, not knowing who it could possibly be.
Nightmare soon opens the door , looking over. "Hello Ink... I have a deal for you.., if you join us we will leave your friends alone. We will only fight in self-defense." nightmare says, keeping an eye-socket on Ink. Ink contemplated the deal. He wanted Swap to be safe not from Nightmare, but from dream.
"I'll give you time to think about it. You have the rest of the day to think. I will be back later." Nightmare adds, soon closing the cell and walking away before Ink could even speak.
Ink sighed, sitting on the bench. The blankets were blue and purple, which calmed him a lil. They were the only things with much color. Everything else was dark shades of gray.
He soon lays down and falls asleep.

-in Ink's dream-

Ink walks around, almost immediately feeling Dream's aura. Ink knew something would happen, and he wouldn't like it. Dream soon appears in front of Ink looking very upset. "Where are you ink! I can't find you anywhere!" Dream yelled, hugging ink. "I was taken by your brother.. And trapped in a cell." Ink rolls his eyes, knowing Dream wanted to find him for only one thing. "Why does he have to ruin everything!... well.. Since we are here, why don't we do what I had in mind now?" Dream asked, but Ink knew he didn't have much of a choice. "Dream... can we not... I don't like it..." Ink asks, trying to hold his ground. He didn't want to hurt Dream, they had been friends for so long and he just started to pull this shit. "Inkk, common it will be fun!, do you really want to be punished?." Dream says, his tone giving Ink shivers. "Fine..." Ink finally obliges, not wanting to but also not wanting to be beaten. "Yay!, lets go Inky!" Dream says, pulling Ink with him to a house.
As they start walking, it starts to rain, and a dark aura appears, overriding Dreams. Before Dream could speak, ink was pulled away by nightmare. ¨Brother!, let him go immediately!¨ Dream yells, summoning his staff and turning it into a bow. Nightmare quickly forms a goop like portal inder himself and takes ink down with him, fleaing Dream.
Ink struggles to get out of Nightmares grip, a bit happy to be away from Dream. Nightmare keeps Ink in one of his tentacles. ¨don't you dare go to him to save you. It won't happen." Nightmare thretends, turning to Ink. ¨i wasn't gonna...¨ Ink replies, looking away. ¨...i just don't want Swap to be next.." Ink adds. ¨What do you mean by that?.¨ Nightmare asks. ¨nothing. Can you please let me go tho?" Ink tries to brush the question off. "Ink.... blue to be next for what."
Night says in a deep tone. "None of your business nightmare, just let me go.." Ink responded. "No, you're staying here." Nightmare brings Ink close to him, almost hugging him. "Night, I'm not gonna leave. Just let me go." Ink demanded. Night let him go, keeping an eye Ink. Ink just sat down, leaning on the tree. "...so... why aren't you going back?..." Night asked, sitting next to Ink. "I just don't want to be near him right now." Ink says, not wanting to go into detail. He hated Dream at that moment but also wanted him to change, like how he used to be. He hated that he was glad that they kidnapped him, just to get away from his best friend.
Night could feel the negativity from Ink, the rain getting heavier. "...why?" Nightmare asks. "I just don't want to. Is that so hard to understand?!?..." Ink burst out. He wasn't used to feeling so heavy emotions, since he can't feel much without his vials, but Nightmares' aura was getting to him. Nightmare sighed, not pushing any further. "Ok.." Nightmare looks around, not seeing Dream but felt his aura so he knew he was still there due to his aura being there.
Ink closes his eyes, feeling a little light headed. Nightmare felt it, knowing the feeling and what was gonna happen. Ink slowly started to wake, both Nightmare and Dream being kicked and transported to their own Dream Realm.

Ink woke up, sighing. He knew the question would come up again but he was still stuck on the answer. He didn't want to join Nightmare, but he wanted Dream and Swap to be safe. But he also didn't want to potentially work with his enemy. He sat up, contemplating.
After an hour of thinking, Ink heard some footsteps. Nightmare looking into Inks cell, and Ink stares back. "So... your answer." Nightmare demands, putting Ink on the spot. "...Fine, just don't hurt Swap." Ink answers, a bit hesitant but wanted him safe. "What's with you and Swap?." Night asks, opening the cell. "Nothing, just keep him safe." Ink walks up to Nightmare, wanting out of the cell. "..ok, follow me." Night leads the way, out of the cell room. Ink was happy to finally be let out.
