Chapter 8

"Are you serious?" She said putting her plate down and jumping out the bed.

"Yes." I said.

"How is this possible when you have that birth control implant."

"Did you forgot I got that out. It wore off on the 29th."

"Oh yeah, so did you take a pregnancy test?"

"No I'm scared to. Mookie I can't have a baby, I'm not ready" I said crying.

"Listen to me. We're going to get through this ok? But first we have to see if you are. When was the last time you had sex and are you having morning sickness?"

"Well I haven't been working since over a month. The last time I had sex was when I told you about me and Lance. So 4weeks ago I believe and yes I've been having it all this week." I said wiping my tears.

"Well around 3 to 4 weeks is usually when you start getting symptoms so that sounds about right.."

"Awe man." I said and more tears started coming out.

YVETTE POV

Liyah was going crazy because she thought she was pregnant. It was this look in her eye that was trying to tell me everything. She was really terrified.

"Pooh, calm down." I said putting my hands on her shoulders. "Let's go get a pregnancy test."

"Wait. I don't want to find out just now. Can we wait a little longer?" She asked. She already knew that it was a possibility she was pregnant even though her and Lance used protection. She just didn't want to admit it.

"The sooner the better Pooh but... If you say so then yeah we can wait."

HOURS LATER

Liyah was still in her room, we haven't went out to get a pregnancy test. Every time I tried to leave she begged me not to get a pregnancy test yet. It was getting ridiculous. I had to get her to take it some way.

"Liyah, let's go to the Cheesecake Factory. I know you stressing right now so I want to take you out. At least if you not gonna take the test then let's go out. I can't have you closing yourself in the room all day." I said opening her room door.

"Ugh fine." She said getting out the bed. She threw on a long yellow sundress and some sandals after she freshened up. I checked the time to see it was almost 3 so we hurried up and left.

"You not tricking me are you?" She asked in the car.

"No, I don't have time for that." I said and I drove to the Cheesecake Factory. We sat there and ate and let me tell you, they food is good!!!! I once always thought the Cheesecake Factory was just full of Cheesecake I didn't know you could actually order meals until I came her like 2yrs ago.

"Satisfied?" I asked her as we were leaving the building.

"Yup." She said smiling. when we got in the car she let out a big sigh. "Ok I'm ready."

"For what?" I asked starting up the car.

"The pregnancy test."

"That's all you had to say." I said smiling.

"Why we just couldn't buy a pregnancy test?" Liyah whispered to me as the lady put the cold gel on her tummy.

"Because even though you said you were ready, I know you, you were going to keep procrastinating. Now Shhh." I said. "Sooo how's it looking." I asked the lady.

"Well you are Definitely pregnant. 4 weeks exact." She said smiling.

"4 weeks? That means Lance is your guy." I said.

"Well.." Liyah said.

"Can you give us a second?" I asked the lady and she nodded and left. "Well what?"

"There's something I didn't tell you.. When you were out to go to your moms that night. You already know that I went to Lance house and we had sex but.."

"But what? Liyah ....no you didn't."

"Yes I did. I kind of had sex with Trey that same night when I came home."

"Liyah!!"

"It was temptation. He kept saying how he wanted me, just like what Lance did and I -- " she stopped and started crying. "Either one of them can be the father. The birth control wore off 2 days after I stopped working and 1 day before I had sex with them. They both used protection but clearly one of them failed."

I didn't know what to say, like this is a lot to deal with.

"I don't know what to do Yvette"
