Nadia helped him dress for supper, directing him to choose the proper outfit, one that would have to do until the tailor stitched him proper clothes. He already despised the idea of being measured and fitted for Royal attire.

The Kefta she chose for him was coloured like a dark wine, gold embroidered on its front and down the sleeves. It closed at the bottom of his throat, at least he could breathe without trouble.

"The Prince prefers dark colours," Nadia told him, working in the buttons down his front, "So, my guess is you will have to get used to those. And it actually helps, it is cold here most of the time."

Louis had no objection to dark coloured clothes, but he did have objection to someone choosing on his behalf, "Why does it matter what colours the Prince prefers?"

"Oh," she looked up, as if not expecting that from Louis, "I just thought he would be involved in your fitting. I shouldn't have presumed. Forgive me, Sorcerer."

Her frantic heartbeat gave away her misstep, she was actually scared that Louis was angry.

"It's alright," he smiled calmly, holding up his hands, "There's nothing to apologise for."

She nodded, but refused to meet his eyes, cheeks reddened for her mistake. Louis was curious as to why Nadia thought she had made a mistake.

"Who will be present at the supper?" He asked to divert her from her embarrassment.

"The Sovereigns, Lord Marcus- he is Princess Gemma's betrothed, Lady Rabekah- treasure keeper, and Lord Frederick- War Commander in Chief."

There was no mention of Harry, Louis couldn't help the disappointment that birthed within him. Having Harry there would have been a great comfort to him. He thought Harry was higher up in the chain to be present at the table, but some Lord Frederick was the War Commander, not Harry.

He looked down at his hands, willing them to stop trembling, Harry had said that people here were accepting, and he wouldn't let anything happen to Louis. He needed to divert his attention elsewhere before he started frantically searching for the man.

"Will the Prince be amongst the Sovereigns?" He asked, haven't seen him at the initial introduction, Louis supposed he too must have returned from the war.

The Prince was known for his kindness even in Louis' old nation. He was rumoured to be a courageous man who had won many battles these past years, singlehandedly leading armies into wars, but he was also known to be kind and helpful to his subjects, never abusing his power.

It was suspected that the King had been merely a face for awhile now, that the Prince was the one making decisions and ruling in his stead. Apparently the King had given up his throne to his son. The actual change of powers couldn't happen until the current Sovereign's demise, or the Prince's wedding, both of which were talked to be not occurring till years down the line.

Nadia gave him a look and smiled, as if she knew something he didn't, "Of course, he will be."

Her tone was full of suggestion, which suggestion, Louis was hesitant to find out.

She chose not to elaborate and decided to tell him something else, "The Prince and Princess are usually the only ones dining in the hall, the Lords and Ladies come over for a special guest's welcome. They wouldn't be present on further evenings. The King takes his supper in his own room, he doesn't much involve himself in the matters of court. Lord Marcus joins the Princess whenever he visits to stay, he is here for another two weeks."
