Day 1, zone 4.
Mary stretched and sat up. She looked around and saw....nothing. Pitch black emptiness. She then herd a "ding!" from her pocket. She reached in and found what looked like a pda. It read, "Script. Obey or die." Mary's eyes widened, and read on. "Stand up." It said, and she did. "Walk forwards until you see a light." Mary obeyed, walking for what seemed like hours until she saw a flicker of light. She stopped, but the light carried on towards her, growing. "Stick out your hand." The script bleeped and said that. Mary now had her hand held out, when she heard it. The noise was a car. "Maybe help?" She thought. The car whizzed past, in it she saw another child her age. She jumped back in pain, the child had cut her hand. Her script bleeped. "Focus." She focused on her bleeding hand, and discs began to form. They started spinning really quickly. She tried to push with her mind, afraid to touch the discs. They shot off, slicing through everything in their way, and cutting a hole in the black. "Exit through your new 'door'" The script said, and Mary walked through the hole. "End of scene. Do as you wish." The script turned off. Mary looked around the room she was in, and saw eight others, including the one who had cut her hand. "H-hey." She said. "I'm Mary, anyone know where we are?"
An Asian boy with really long black hair, almost like a girl's replied. "Nope, I'm Kojirou by the way. I'm from Japan, where'd they take you from?"
"Kent, England." Mary responded, fear in her voice.
"Alright, well, you've met the director, otherwise you wouldn't be here. I'll tell you now, the script wasn't joking, if you break its rules, you will die. We lost Sam that way....he seemed like a good guy." Everyone else in the room looked away or hung their heads, clearly they were not used to death.Day 1, zone 4.
Natasha woke up. She was in a small room, with nothing but a large pair of wooden doors in front of her. She looked around, but found nothing else in the room. She opened the doors, and saw a long corridor, made out of...was that marble? "Huh, flashy, I'll give them that." She muttered as she started to walk down the corridor. She found some notes on the floor along the way, basically saying she was stuck here, and that the one who trapped them here is wandering the area, which is apparently sone sort of maze. It also mentioned that her blood now had something done to it, but she needed to cut herself to find out what. Nat walked on some more, and felt the cold. Her t-shirt and jeggings were suitable for her home in New York City, but here they did little to help the chill breezes. As she was walking, Natasha felt one of the slabs underfoot press in and click. "Oh shit..." she said, as she broke into a run, not sure what was going to happen. Arrows began firing from the walls. Nat rolled forward, but one of the arrowheads cut up her arm. She made her way out of the firing line, and looked at the blood pouring out of her wound. She looled at it, and focused as the note had told her. Suddenly, she saw a selection of images in her head. They were all various guns and other firearms. "Oh boy...this is gonna be fun." She said, picking out an uzi. The pictures vanished, and Nat winced as the blood forced its way out of her arm, and formed into the gun. She held it, it felt normal, and upon inspection, functioned properly, it was just red. As Nat was checking it, she heard footsteps. She held herself up against the wall as she saw a tall woman with black hair walk past. She remembered what the notes had said, and muttered to herself, "Now or never Nat." She shrugged and jumped out, opening fire on the woman. Somehow, none of her shots hit, they were all deflected by the woman's arms, no, a pair of scythe like blades growing out of her arms. Natasha ran, turning corners to try and lose the woman, but to no avail. She was still on Nat's tail, the blades growing out to about the length of Nat's arm. Natasha tripped, and fell into a corner. The woman walked over, rubbing her arm. "Heh, looks like I did get one hit then..." Nat murmured as the woman raised her arms....and was blasted through the wall. "Run!" A male voice with a thick African accent shouted. Natasha did as she was told, and bolted. She saw what had knocked the woman through the wall, it was a crimson lion, which the woman was wrestling with now. Nat carried on running, and saw a hand beckoning her into a doorway. She entered, and the door was slammed. Standing in the room with her, were nine. The voice that had toldd her to run spoke up. "Welcome, my name is Daudi (Day-oodi), and this is the sanctuary."
"Hi, name's Natasha, thanks for the save earlier. You know where we are?" Nat asked, looking around, the room was rather large, but only had the one door, which now was blocked by a large piece of wood.
"No, but this place is a maze, and logically our best chance of escape is to find the center. But now, rest, we have plenty of time for escape later." Daudi smiled warmly, like a brother would. He led Natasha to one of ten beds, and set up a partition. Three other beds were partiitioned off like Nat's was. She lay down on the bed, which was really comfortable surprisingly, and went to sleep.
