The Canisius Golden Griffins had their season ended by the Mercyhurst Lakers in the Atlantic Hockey Quarterfinals. John Hawthorne had his best season of his career last season statistically and he could make a run at the starting goaltending position. Ryan Miotto is just getting better as his college career continues and could very well lead the charge on the offensive side of the puck. Canisius looks like a fairly dangerous team and they might challenge AIC for the Atlantic Hockey title. With talent on both sides of the puck, Canisius looks like one of the best teams in the conference this season. Canisius, please challenge AIC for the title it should be a dramatic run to the finish this winter.
