The Michigan Wolverines had their season ended by the Denver Pioneers at the Frozen Four in Boston. Brendan Brisson is back to lead an offense that ranked third in the nation in goals per game last season which is a big ask. Erik Portillo is back to man the Wolverine net and he'll need to be a tad bit better than he was a season ago but I'm optimistic in his abilities. This team looks a little weaker than last year but don't let fool you, they're still a very good hockey team. Good luck Michigan. Just know that the rest of college hockey is coming for you so, beware.
