Paper Mario: The Origami King {Boss One-Shots}

Journal Entry #1 // King Olly (J.E.)

(Cucco's Note: This here's a journal entry, a mini entry where it solely relies on the character's dialogue and nothing else. As I'm still working on the next main one-shot entry, I might as well make a sort of mini entry as a cool-down, so the Journal Entries were created! Today's journal entry revolves around King Olly and the chaos that happened during the day, enjoy!)

Journal Entry OO-XX :

    "Today has been quite eventful for myself, I don't know how to even describe the absolute mess that was today, but I will do my best to document it as best as I can. It all started this morning at precisely 5:53am, I had called for a meeting with the Legion of Stationery to discuss how they were doing since they were revived not too long ago with their new forms, which I would soon come to regret heavily. I had sent my troops out to inform the others of the meeting that was to begin soon, with the first arriving being my eternally loyal hound, Stapler with no qualms whatsoever (minus a few barks and growls that echoed throughout the chamber). Next to arrive was Scissors, who was less than pleased to attend the meeting but remained silent as he always was. Third to arrive was Rubber Band, who had informed me that Hole Punch was either going to be late or absent due to him having one of those 'super groovy raves' of his... tch, how typical for someone like Hole Punch... Rubber Band looked quite tired (unusually tired might add), possibly due to the fact that they had to do 'Opening Night' at the Big Sho' Theater. then Tape showed up acting as grouchy and punkish as ever, nothing out of the ordinary to see with him (as to which his true colors would be showed later on). Colored Pencils was last to arrive as he had already been dealing with running the Overlook Tower, he looks like he barely had any time to rest himself at all due to working around the tower. Almost everyone was in attendance, all except for Hole Punch that is... I come to accept the fact that the fool was going to be absent for the meeting, as to which I'll have to remind myself to visit Shroom City to discuss a few things with him.
We all begin the meeting with a basic chat about how everyone was fairing their new lives alongside the other papery beings, discussing what everyone has been up to after they all had been reformed. Rubber Band started us off with discussing their growing acting career without having to deal with Mario or any other kind of opponent, the only 'opponents' they speak of are the critics. Tape decided to make an unnecessary comment regarding Rubber's acting style, saying something such as 'No wonder why the critics are after you, your acting is about as bad as Hole Punch's music taste!' or a line similar to that, thankfully Rubber didn't let the jab get to them too much. Unfortunately, Tape had made multiple unsavory comments towards the others during the entire meeting while everyone else was talking about how things were amidst their current situations. It was until we heard Colored Pencil's story about him now running the Overlook Tower that everything went wrong, mostly around the part that he had mentioned about something that happened a week ago. It turns out the Tower had been temporarily closed due to an instance of terribly painted graffiti on the outer walls, he suspected that it was some petty fool that had done it... until he saw some pieces of what looked to be paper with MY seal on it alongside the graffiti, but before he could even say that it could have be one of us, Rubber Band brought up their own experience with Big Sho' Theater being vandalized terribly made graffiti and the familiar pieces of paper with my seal on it. It was the reason why Rubber Band had opening night yesterday due to the vandalism that happened a day after the vandalism of the Overlook Tower, which leads to Scissors bringing up that he saw Tape suspiciously wandering around Shogun Studios while he was visiting Rubber Band. He thought that it was odd that Tape was here since he would usually be fishing at Toad Town's pier, but he chocked it up as him just wanting to leave town for a while. Of course, that was absolutely wrong, I could see the look of growing annoyance on Tape's face and so did Rubber Band who quickly points out that the style of the strange paper was familiar to the tape that Tape uses to either close off warp pipes or to close off any routes that any other being could use. Tape immediately became defensive from their accusations and denied any involvement, but Colored Pencils called him out on his lie as he also recognized the color pallet on the piece of tape was extremely similar to Tape's style of color pallet, Scissors also follows up with identifying that the cut ends of the tape directly matched the shape of Tape's dispenser shear (or whatever it was called). With all the compiling evidence pointing towards Tape being the culprit, he ends up snapping and yelled out something along the lines of 'Alright, Fine! I did it! It was me! Ya happy, ya snoopy little morons? ARE YA?! HOW ABOUT I CAUSE MORE DAMAGE, AY?! HOW WOULD YA LIKE THAT, YA SOFTIES?!' and tackled Rubber Band who was next to him at the time, thus beginning a whole brawl that not even I could stop. I was almost as if I was watching a soap opera of sorts, they didn't even notice me watching as they bickered and fought. With all sorts of things flying through the air and all kinds of yelling and bickering, Stapler and I decided to leave the throne room and go outside for a while to let the fight simmer down on its own. 
As the afternoon came, we returned to check up on the others to see if they calmed down, it seems to me that they had finally calmed down and stop fighting, but the entire room was a mess. There were things scattered everywhere, including: thrown furniture, various colored pencils, loose rubber bands, pieces of tape, and paper scraps everywhere. I also saw that Tape was wrapped up in rubber bands in what looked to be a cage comprising of colored pencils as Scissors was knocked out and taped to the wall but regained consciousness thanks to Stapler and got him out of his sticky predicament, it looked like that Colored Pencils and Rubber Band had left after the fight had ended. Unfortunately, it was a lot to clean up... Thankfully, I had Scissors and Stapler help me clean up and restored the room to the way it was before the fight with some confetti pieces to seal up the holes scattered around the room and some rearranging of the furniture. I then released Tape from his rubber band and colored pencil prison, I made sure to leave him with a punishment as the behavior he had shown was utterly unacceptable. I intend on leaving him with my sister and her friend Mario for a while until he can get his act together and to expect to give Colored Pencils and Rubber Band an apology. So, that's all that had happened today.
I'm partially ashamed that I couldn't do much to handle the issue properly, but I'm just glad no one was ripped too badly. I just hope that nothing else like this would happen again, but then again... no promises. Tomorrow, I'll be setting out to Shroom City to spend some time with Hole Punch who was absent to the meeting this morning. Here's hoping that it won't be as eventful as today but there's no guaranteeing that it will be a smooth trek. Only time can tell after all."
