((Cucco's Note: Just a small slice-of-life entry to get me back in the groove, all that snazzy stuff. Hope you like it! It's gonna be a rough one too, so heads up))

It was silent inside of Origami Castle, Folded Soldiers wandered the halls and dust bunnies floated about the rooms. It was boring and quiet like aways, it was an atmosphere that loyal Chain Chomp Stapler didn't quite like; no, not at all. Stapler quietly whined as she bounced around the throne room with her staple-like chain jingling about, she was bored, and she absolutely hated it. It was then that King Olly came in after taking care of business around Toad Town, Stapler noticed this and bounced up to Olly as she barked and whined out of sheer boredom. Olly then sighed and looked at Stapler with a tired expression on his face as he then asks "Oh, Stapler... You wanna go out?" Stapler then wagged her tale as a way to say yes to Olly's question, which he would then pull out a purple ribbon out of his pocket and tied it around Stapler's chain hold, that ribbon is only used for when Stapler is to go out alone as Olly says "Alright girl, I can't come with you though... you know that I have work to do today. Just be careful and come back safe, alright?" Stapler nodded and happily bolted out the door, charging through the halls to get out of the castle. Once she had made it outside with the permission of Olly and the senior Folded Soldiers, the first thing she did was go through the shiny pipe located outside that led to the museum which she would be able to surprisingly fit through: She now made it to the pipe room, immediately making her way to the pipe that leads to Shogun Studios with a happy little bounce with every movement. The Toads that stood at the gate were surprised about the sudden entrance of the Chain Chomp but soon recognized who it was when they saw the vibrant purple ribbon on the chain hold. One of the Toads then greeted the chain chomp kindly "Well if it isn't Stapler! I thought that Olly would go with you today? Oh well, I know you have our lifetime pass so come on inside!... Just don't break anything, alright? We're still recovering from what Hole Punch did last week..." the chain chomp humbly nodded and headed through the gates, wagging their little chain in the process. Stapler had a grand time at Shogun Studios: she had some nice tea, had fun at the House of Tricky Ninjas, sucked at the Shuriken Dojo, snapped a few photos at the Dress-Up Photo Studio, got along with the Chain Chomp at the Petting Zoo, all sorts of fun stuff and even making a few new friends!
It was then that she made her way to Big Sho' Theater to watch Rubber Band's newest play "Toadley's Boundary", She was given a spot where she could sit at without interfering with other audience members all while enjoying the show herself. She absolutely enjoyed the show, although she had to contain herself throughout the whole show as to not disturb anyone. It was at the second half of the play where one of the secondary antagonists was introduced, "Draconia", it turns out that Draconia's character was being represented by a Chain Chomp, which stirred excitement within the already enamored Stapler. Stapler absolutely loved every bit of Draconia's performance, wagging her tail as the character was on stage. She was heavily disappointed and disheartened when she saw that the main hero "Toadley" had defeated her favorite character, she got quite attached to the character despite their low stage-time but even so they enjoyed the play thoroughly, growing a strong hatred towards the main hero of story. There was also a character meet n' greet outside in the lobby; while everyone flocked to the heroes and main villains, Stapler would make a beeline to Draconia's actor and express her absolute admiration for them and the character they played with a happy bark n' bounce. The Chain Chomp actor barked back in a happy manner, as if they were thanking her for loving his performance.
The two Chain Chomps had a snazzy little chat with each other, but it was about time that Stapler headed home for the night and so she did. She said her goodbyes to the actor and departed to the blue pipe that led to the pipe room, finally returning to the castle filled with absolute glee. She made her way back to the bedroom that she shared with Olly, hoping that she would be able to tell him all about the fun things she did while she was out. Unfortunately, Olly was asleep at his desk by the time that Stapler returned. Stapler decides to not mess with him and returned to her little bed to sleep the night away, she didn't realize that she had lost her ribbon while she was at Shogun Studios but I'm quite certain that someone will be able to return the ribbon to her in due time. For now, Stapler needs her rest for tomorrow's events! She does have to attend a big meeting tomorrow after all... Good Night, Stapler!
