A Familiar Figure
╚═*.·:·.✧ ✦✧.·:·.*═╝(Y/n) threw his arms over his head, yawning quietly as he stretched. Despite living near an ocean, Liyue Harbor could be hot when it wanted to be.
Xingqiu and Chongyun were nowhere to be seen since the two of them decided to split away from the (H/c)ette, wanting to find out why there were visitors from Inazuma during the mid-day.
"Right, maybe supplies?" (Y/n) asked himself while giving a thoughtful look.
Rethinking that idea, the (H/c)ette shook his head. Maybe they were just normal visitors? But then why did they have cargo in the boats they traveled in?
"This is getting too difficult." (Y/n) heavily sighed while continuing his walk to where all the boats were docked at.
Elderly, adults, and children could be seen bustling up and down the streets and the docks, cheering with silent happiness.
(E/c) hues darted over to a particular boat and noticed an elderly man and a child taking their good old time taking out cargo.
Raising a brow, (Y/n) stared at the child even more. He could see a pair of cat ears and a tail on the child, waving a bit with their owner's movements.
"Why do they feel familiar?" (Y/n) asked himself, bringing a finger up to his lips with a small frown.
The child had ombre bluenette locks that lined up with their mid-back.
"No... (F/n) is still alive, right? Knowing them if they did die, they probably had a dramatic death or something." (Y/n) mumbled, biting back a laugh of amusement.
(F/n) was the dramatic one out of the two and would always ask (Y/n) to copy his homework since the bluenette would always forget about the said paper's existence.
(Y/n) always wondered how (F/n) passed middle school because of how they easily forgot things. They once even forgot about state testing and nearly missed it until the (H/c)ette had to remind them.
Footsteps vibrated and shook the ground a bit due to multiple cargoes being carried onto the open streets of Liyue Harbor.
"Ah, (Y/n)!" A voice piped up, capturing the said child's attention.
(Y/n) looked over and noticed that it was Ganyu.
The half-Adeptus smiled nervously at the young child that she was looking for.
"Ganyu," (Y/n) quietly greeted the female beside him.
The (H/c)ette could tell that the other was surely nervous due to how she was holding her posture.
Fidgeting fingers, eyes darting back and forth, and messing with her hair.
"Is there anything you need, Ganyu?" (Y/n) asked, looking up at the taller female in front of him.
Ganyu smiled a bit as she relaxed her stance. "Right, I was wondering if you could help the visitors with their cargo. You can deny the request, of course! It's just elderly people usually open up more to kids and they all seem stiff down by the boats." She answered.
(Y/n) blinked at what was said before humming lightly. "I don't mind, it's just a strange request for you to be asking me," he retorted.
Ganyu gave an apologetic look. "Sorry, I would've asked someone else if I..." She trailed off.
(Y/n) shook his head, "No worries, I'll help them."
Ganyu returned a relieved smile. "Thanks a bunch. See you later," she whispered before disappearing.
(Y/n) turned his attention back to the docks. "Should've known that I was going to have to be near the docks one of these days," he sighed.
"Let's get going then."
The (H/c)ette then headed in the direction of the boat docks.

(F/n) groaned lightly as they sat down on the ground, trying to calm down their racing heart.
Their grandfather turned his attention to them and heavily sighed in disappointment. "Already tired?" He asked with no amusement.
(F/n) lightly glared up – which looked more like a pout – at their only remaining family member.
"Of course, I am, Gramps! I'm just a child, you know!" They complained lightly.
"When I was your age–" The grandfather was cut off by his grandchild.
"Yes, yes. You worked at a younger age... you told me that a hundred times, Gramps." (F/n) grumbled.
Footsteps coming near both of them captured their attention and noticed a young boy walking up to them.
(F/n) took in the child's figure and mentally grinned.
The child had (H/c) locks that were up in a (H/s), that fitted him perfectly since some strands framed his face.
Bright (E/c) hues danced with mischief, the star pupils capturing (F/n)'s attention.
The ombre bluenette could easily tell who this child was and bit back a laugh.
Of course, (Y/n) was reincarnated into Genshin Impact! But sadly the other was a bit older than them in this world.
"Oh, hello there, sonny." (F/n)'s grandfather greeted softly, his heavy-colored blueish-grey eyes making contact with (Y/n).
(Y/n) smiled back, mentally cringing.
"Hello there! I'm (Y/n), do you need any help?" (Y/n) asked, tilting his head to the side.
'Pfft- I can see how much he's cringing to act like he's from this world.' (F/n) mentally snickered, swaying their tail back and forth in amusement.
"It's nice to meet you! You may call me Gramps since that's what everyone calls me. And this is my grandchild, (F/n)." Gramps introduced.
(Y/n) felt a cold shiver go up his spine realizing that this ombre bluenette was none other than (F/n).
'Right, time to find out how the fuck you came to this world. And please don't tell me it's one of the dramatic ones.' (Y/n) thought.
Gramps chuckled lightly. "If you don't mind, we'll take up that offer," he retorted.
(Y/n) smiled and nodded his head in agreement.
"If you don't mind me asking, are both of you from Inazuma?" He asked.
(F/n)'s face brightened up, throwing an arm casually over (Y/n)'s shoulders.
"Of course, we are!" They exclaimed.
