The sound of flipping pages was heard echoing throughout a small dimly lit room with a hunched-over figure skimming over the words and through a packet of paper.

This figure was ticked off since they weren't able to find the answers to their unspoken question that kept repeating in their head.

Highness...

A title mostly used for anyone that had royalty or high-ranking blood in their veins, but this figure was SURE they weren't any of that.

A groan of disappointment was heard as this figure threw their head backward, causing them to look up at the roof they sat underneath.

"Damn it..." The figure's voice groaned out in a husky voice.

(E/c) eyes stared blankly up at the roof that was a gentle cream color, which was soft and calming to those that stared at it.

"Just what the hell was Dvalin talking about? "Highness"? I'm pretty sure that my character holds no royal blood relatives," the young adult sighed.

(Y/n) reached an (S/c) hand upward and ran it through the loose strands of (H/c).

The young adult's (E/c) hues drifted downward to the packet of paper once more, staring at the words that were menacingly gazing right back up at them.

Grumbling, the (H/c)ette closes the packet before stuffing it into a bag that he was carrying on his shoulder – which he usually didn't bother with unless it was something important.

(Y/n) glanced over at an open window that was off to his left, taking notice of all the bright lights and cheering from down below.

A quiet laugh left (Y/n)'s lips. "Looks like they're celebrating," he smiled.

'I guess I should head down there as well. They're probably wondering where I'm at.' (Y/n) thought with a shake of his head.

Standing up, the (H/c)ette lifted himself from the chair and pushed the wooden object into a table.

'I shouldn't be making theories right now. I'll let a certain feline do that part.' The (H/c)ette mused.

What the young adult didn't know was that back in Inazuma, a sixteen-year-old feline who had just sneezed was now cursing the archons.

(Y/n) stretched for a few seconds before leaving the room, making sure to blow out the candle that lit the dimmed room up a little.

The sound of the door shutting was the only thing heard as it echoed throughout the quiet building.

(Y/n) peeked his head into the tavern of Angel's Share before sweatdropping at what he saw inside.

(E/c) eyes darted back and forth trying to find both Aether and Paimon. 'Just where the hell– Nevermind, I found 'em.' (Y/n) thought, deadpanning when he took notice of Aether and Paimon sitting near the back.

"Ah, (Y/n)! Apple juice?" Charles asked, taking notice of the young adult who decided to take a step into the tavern that smelled of alcohol.

(Y/n) nodded his head at the older man. "Thanks, Charles." He said in a relieved voice.

Charles just chuckled and nodded, waving the poor eighteen-year-old off. "No worries. I'll bring it over to you, go sit with your friends."

(Y/n) mentally thanked the other once more before heading over in Paimon and Aether's direction.
