The Morning After

Continuation of the previous chapter (yeah the title sounds perverted xD)

He just fell asleep like that with me in his arms. He looked so peaceful and eventually i calmed down as i was looking at him soundly asleep and i slowly drifted of too...
I was awoken by mother's voice in the morning, she was yelling at me to come for breakfast. I was relieved and sad because Sub-zero wasn't in my bed but it would be so troublesome to explain- me half naked with a stranger sleeping in my bed. I almost completely forgotten what was i wearing and i started blushing like crazy, the dirty thoughts took over my mind as i imagined him maybe touching in my sleep... Quickly i snapped out of it knowing that he wasn't that kind of a guy... Or was he? I almost knew nothing about him after all. I shook off that feeling remembering how sweet and kind he was towards me from the beginning. He was truly caring guy for an assassin i though smiling for myself. I got dressed and went downstairs and had some breakfast while chatting with my parents...
I decided to go shopping for some groceries and for some candies for me. Suddenly i heard someone calling me from the seemingly empty corner of the streets. It was Sub-zero, i was glad that we could finally meet in the daylight and that he could see how i am in my daily life without hiding or being afraid of being discovered. He didn't spoke of last night but i couldn't ignore what happened, it was the closest i have ever been with a guy and for goodness sake i initiated it! Did he just do that to make me happy? Was i just an adventure for him? After all we weren't together or anything. I knew nothing of his life and i understood well that i wasn't supposed to ask about it. Well he did trust me enough to sleep with me like that and he was nothing but kind to me. I had to snap out of my little fantasy by him approaching saying "i know you are worried about someone finding out about our" meetings" so how about we hang out somewhere outsife of this village? " i knew he wasn't joking, he wasnt the type that would joke around with that. It hit me that i was never outside of this safe place and even though i wanted to leave it scared me. At that moment he promised to protect me from anything that may happen because outside this place everything is chotic and Shao Kahn's alliances could attack any time. I looked at his eyes scared but willing to go and see some of Outworld places finally, i knew the situation was far from good but i thought the risk was worth it. He suggested that i let my parents meet him. I stared at him speechless for a moment, we were that close? Well apparently yes and he was taking our some might call it "relationship" wery seriously. Now the only thing left was to convince my parents without them freaking out about him, after all he wasn't just a regular guy and we couldn't hide that fact. He seemed confident about this as he just gently harassed my cheek looking at me for a moment before we started going into direction of my house.
