The Person Behind The Door

That was strage,  we weren't expecting anyone at this hour. It was pretty late so we didn't think any of the neighbors could be at the door. Father suggested we shouldn't open it but somehow at the back of my mind there was hope that Sub-zero had come for me even though that idea quickly dissappeared as i was afraid of disappointment. I carefully approached the door while holding my breath.  Was i seriously expected him to come? I slowly opened the door and i saw a person wearing dark blue uniform a mask on his face with only his eyes visible. I nervously said "So,  uh... Who are you? ".  He got nervous which i found cute but got himself together as other people dress like him approached,  he began telling me that they are Lin Kuei ninjas and that Grandmaster Sub-zero requested my arrival to Earthrealm.  I started crying but i let him continue : "Grandmaster sends his sincerest apologies and hopes that you would come with us,  he is ready to explain everything that happened ever since you had last seen each other.  That is all we know." I started shaking, and still couldn't stop sobbing while trying to control mysef.  He is alive, on top of that he is a grandmaster?!  I smiled weakly and was glad he didn't forget me after all this time. They were all staring at me awkwardly while i was a half crying and laughing mess.  Soon after my parents appeared wondering what was going on and soon after i found myself getting ready to go to the Earthrealm.  Again they were terrified but seeing how sad all this years was they approved it.  I was really nervous about meeting him, is he still going to like me like before? Was he with anyone during this time? Oh well, there was only one way to find out...
The Earthrealm was strange, they dressed very differently and had lots of strange buildings, those TV things and i didn't really know how was i supposed to fit in during my time there.  I was exhausted from the journey and immediately took a shower and relaxed a bit before putting on that strange but very pretty Earthrealm dress which i thought it looked good on me and prepared myself for the final meeting. We entered the Lin Kuei temple and it was slightly warmer inside and i was still hoping not to freeze to death. I managed to get to the big room he was in, he was sitting on a grandmaster chair and yeah, there was me completely wasted these 5 years... He looked older and more mature and well much, much hotter then i remembered with a beard covering his face and more of his body revealed but the thing that bothered me were his white eyes, what happened to his blue eyes, they don't just disappear. He calmly told everyone to leave the room and again i started crying and jumped to hug him as he stood up, he hugged me immediately and gently kissed me. He put his forehead against mine and said "I'm never letting you go ever again..." and he led me to a room which i guessed it was his room.
