"Is that any way to greet your mother? I raised you better than that," said Circe
"My apologies, Mommy," I said
I embraced her with a hug.
"It's not that I'm not elated to see you; it was just unexpected," I said
"That was the plan. I wanted to see my little boy," she said
"Mum, I'm a grown man now," I said
"Grown man or not, You'll always be my little prince of Hell. Sorry, I meant King of Hell," She said
This amazing demoness is my loving mother, Circe. She was once a human, eons ago, during the 15th century. My father fell in love with my mom and chose her as his Queen. After a 2-year courtship, she finally agreed to be his wife. They got married when my mom was 18. She became a demon once she and my dad consummated their marriage twice. My mom is a respected and beloved woman in Hell. She and my dad ruled Hell together, and then I came along. My mom has always encouraged me to find my true happiness with someone special, whether they are a demon or a human. I know she will love Evangelina. I can't wait for them to meet. Like all mothers, she's a loving, strict, protective, and no-nonsense woman. Sometimes, my old man is scared of her.
"So tell me, my boy, where are you headed?" she asked
I rubbed my neck.
"I'm going to meet with someone," I said
"A girlfriend?" she asked
"Not yet; we are taking things slowly, but I plan to ask her to be my girlfriend very soon," I replied
Circe was excited and thrilled.
"My little boy is growing up fast; what's she like? What's her name?" she asked eagerly
*chuckles*
"Her name is Evangelina Winston, and she's a daycare teacher," I said
"Aww, she works with the little ones. How adorable. What else? How old is she?" she asked
"She's 26. She's beautiful, educated, kind-hearted, polite, sweet, intelligent, and generous, and has one of the biggest hearts I've ever seen. She loves children and giving back to the community." I said
"This woman sounds amazing. She's like an angel," she said
"She sure acts like one, but she is not an actual angel from up there. She's human," I said
"Even better. I like this girl already; I'm looking forward to meeting her one day," she said
"You'll love her, Mommy. She makes me feel things I never felt before. She treats me like Lucifer, not as everyone sees me as the ruthless billionaire and king of Hell. She makes me feel normal," I said
