(Eddies POV)

It was a few days after I had been at Harringtons' house. Still not being able to fathom that I had told him my biggest secret that no one except my parents and Uncle Wayne knew about. Even though Steve has been accepting of it, I still wasn't sure about if he'd want to stay friends with me or not. All that ran through my head was Steves' back against mine as I threw out all the details of my situation. I ran the conversation through my head again and again. I hoped that we could remain friends, even though his eyes were so distracting and all he wanted to do all day was run his fingers through Steves' short, cashew nut-colored hair. He wanted to tell him how he felt, but the last thing he needed was for Steve to completely ghost him and then tell the entire school "hey you know what, Eddie the freak Munson is both a tr*nny and a f*ggot." The thought made Eddie shiver.

I had just woken up by my screaming alarm but did not have enough energy to turn it off.

"Eddie, turn your alarm off, I can't even hear my own thoughts!" Uncle Wayne shouted from the other room.

"Sorry!" I hit my alarm until it became silent. I stood up, almost falling but then catching myself on the bed frame. I sat up on my bed rubbing my face, groaning into the palms of my hands. I stood up and got ready for school even though I really didn't want to go, like usual.

Why be in school sitting, listening, obeying when I could be home, doing what I enjoy, smoking weed, shit like that? I ruffled up my hair, grabbed my bag, and went to school. Students were making their usual recruit to school, chit-chatting and laughing. As I went up to my sticker-decorated locker, I heard a familiar voice behind me.

"Hey Eddie," Dustin said. Dustin Henderson, along with Mike Wheeler and Lucas Sinclaire, was the newest addition to the Hellfire club, a club for the school's freaks and outcasts alike to play the fantasy, roleplay game Dungeons and Dragons, me being the leader and therefore Dungeon Master.

"Goodmorning Henderson," I replied, slamming my locker, making Dustin jump a bit.

"So I was just wondering, when is our next campaign session? We haven't had one in like two weeks now, any reason? We really want to proceed with the adventure."

"Uh yeah, we will. Not today though I got some things to take care of," I explained. Dustin was nodding seeming a bit suspicious but then letting it go, shrugging his shoulders.

"Oh ok well, tell me when the next time we have a session, gotta head to class now," Dustin said and walked away to slowly disappear behind the door to his first-period class.

I sighed. I really want to proceed with the campaign but this thing with Steve was eating me up from the inside out. He was a virus. A beautiful, handsome, caramel-brown-eyed virus.

I took a deep breath as I started walking into class. Barely late to the lesson I sat down in my seat right behind Steve himself. I wanted to keep quiet but I couldn't help myself, just because I told him about my being trans doesn't mean I can't be myself. I leaned forward and whispered in his ear.

"Good morning King Steve," I smiled knowing it would fluster him. I saw how his shoulders tensed up.

"Did you sleep well big boy?" I asked him, leaning even closer. Steve slightly looked back, and as soon as our eyes met, he quickly turned back, his cheeks turning a glowing pink. I leaned back in my chair.

"So for today we have an easy assignment, you'll be working in groups which I have on a list here so don't try to grab onto any of your friends," the teacher said, sliding a piece of paper closer to her.

She started reading the groups of three loudly to the class. I really wanted to be with Steve of course, but who else was gonna be in our group? Soon there were only a few people left.

"Patrick, Keith, and Heather will be one group and since we are an odd number of people the last group will have to be two students, Eddie and Steve," the teacher said. I raised my eyebrows and looked over at Steve who seemed shocked at the fact that he was gonna be alone with me for the project. I giggled to myself.

"The assignment is to describe each other in at least 400 words or less. It can be about anything but it needs to contain the following and make sure to write this down cause I will not be repeating myself." Steve frantically picked up his pen and started taking notes of the things that the assignment had to contain.

"Where in town the person lives, either north, south, west or east, the persons' full legal name, three of their hobbies, and their family. The rest is up to you. I want it handed in by Monday."

Since it was Friday, there was loads of time to do it during the weekend which gave me an idea, my own evil masterplan.
