"I'm telling you. I saw Calvin Harris in the stadium!" Hana exclaimed.
"No you didn't!" Trent tried gaslighting Hana, when he fully knew that Virgil invited Calvin to watch the game.
"Stop it, you're literally gaslighting me!" She shouted.
"No I'm not!" Trent said while standing up.
"Hold up, where you going?"
"Far away from you"
"Okay, okay. I'm sorry for saying you are trying to gaslight me" Hana started to apologize. Trent just smirked at that.
"No.. no. I'm not accepting it." Hana now made her way across the room to Trent.
"Mate, please. I'm sorry." Trent looked down at her. She was now smiling too.
"MaTE, PLeaSe."
"Now you are making fun of me."
"Okay sorry."
"You better be. The amount of time I spent going to Liverpool these past few weeks."
"And I'm grateful for that."
Suddenly Hana remembered why she was so nervous going to Liverpool. The cause of stress was sitting in her backpack.
" Wait, hold up, I just remembered that I have a gift for you." She quickly rushed to the sofa where she discarded her bag.
Trent was left to stare at her with surprise in his eyes.
"You got me a gift... how nice of you?" He couldn't hide the confusion.
"Okay, turn around." Reluctantly Trent turned around." Turn back around."
Trent looked at her hands.
"Tada!" She showed him the teddy bear that he gifted her back in the day.
"Oh my fucking god!" Trent exclaimed." You kept it?"
"Of course I did." Trent quickly walked over to her.
"This is genuinely the cutest thing someone has done for me." He said as he took the teddy from Hana's hands.
"I know." She laughed as Trent hugged her. The hug felt like home to both of them. Neither really wanting to let go of each other.
Eventually they had to pull apart, because someone rang the doorbell.
"Oh no.." Trent sighted as he went to open the door. When he saw who's at the door he sighted even louder.
"Hello!" Hana heard a loud Scottish accent.
Oh shit she thought to herself.
"Hi?" She heard Trent respond.
"Why are you not happy to see me?" Andy questioned. After that Hana didn't hear anything. As she waited for them to emerge from the entryway, she sat on the sofa.
Eventually Trent and Andy emerged from the entryway, Andy was smiling from ear to ear.
"Hello." Andy said loudly.
"Hi." She said awkwardly.
"Trent left quickly after the game so I wanted to make sure he's alright." Andy quickly explained his reason for showing up unannounced.
"It's all good."
"Wait, you watched the game right? Did you see Calvin Harris?" Andy asked.
"You mean to tell me that he was actually there. And it was him who I saw!" She looked at Trent.
"Ahh c'mon, Andy, you ruined my lie." Trent exclaimed.
"Oh my god, Trent, as soon as Andy leaves I'm gonna make sure you're never leaving this house again!" Trent looked at her scared.
"With that... I'm gonna leave." Andy quickly moved to the door. He would be lying if he said that he wasn't scared of the woman.
Hana waited until the door closed to start pretending that she's mad.
"I can't believe that I actually believed you."
"I'm sorry!" To that Hana started hitting him.
"Ouch ouch, stop it." With that Trent grabbed her hands to stop her from hitting him. Hana felt her heart start going ballistic. Trent's touches seem to have that effect on her. She hoped he didn't notice her going tense.
"Hey? Are you listening?."
"Yeah definitely." Hana tried to sound as if she wasn't just daydreaming.
"You weren't?" Trent asked her.
"Oh yeah definitely." She didn't even notice when he let go of her hands
"I was just saying that maybe we should order dinner?" He asked her.
"Oh yeah, okay, okay. Maybe Chinese?"
"Yeah sure."
