I finally snap out of my memory and I realize that the tears of my flashback came through in reality. I only wish he was there to hold me now.
I make my way back to the main road and I decipher which way my apartment is and begin my journey. At moments like this, I wish I could drive. I never learned how to, in fact I wanted nothing to do with it, after the accident.
My older sister, Olivia, died in a car crash a few years ago. Her death furthered my mother's depression and led to her ultimate suicide. I found her, just in case you were wondering. She didn't even leave a note. She left me in a flash, all alone. Our small house had been in our family for generations, and my mother had willed it to me.
