We finally made it down to Hagrid's Hut and I gave Draco a look as we knocked on the door waiting for Hagrid to answer.

"I know love, I know." Draco said squeezing my side slightly making me squirm trying not to laugh from it being ticklish. When Hagrid opened to door, he stopped shocked to see Draco standing there giving him the perfect chance to speak. "Hagrid, I wanted to apologize about what happened, I didn't mean for this to be what happens to Buckbeak, especially cause this hurts (Y/N), and it's not fair to you that this is happening. I tried to stop my father, but he wouldn't hear it, so I was hoping you'd be okay with me being here for this."

"Sure... Sure Malfoy." Hagrid said still shocked, and little taken aback at the apology.

"Thank you" Draco said giving a small smile as we got let inside and watched Buckbeak out the window.

"Oh, look at him. Loves the smell of the trees when the wind blows through them." Hagrid said

"Why don't we just set him free?" Harry asked

"Cause they'd know it was us." I said sitting on the couch next to Draco holding his hand, as he looked at Hagrid's dog with slight concern. "I promise he won't eat you he's a big baby." I whispered to him.

"And then Dumbledore would get into trouble." Hagrid said "He's coming down, you know, Dumbledore. Says he wants to be with me when they... when it happens. Great man, Dumbledore. Great man."

"We'll stay with you too, Hagrid." Hermione said standing up.

"Wait whoa did you guys not get permission to do that before we got down here?" I asked standing up also looking at the trio who looked away quickly making me groan and flop back down next to Draco who wrapped his arm around my shoulder earning a glare from Harry.

"You'll do no such thing." Hagrid said answering Hermione, "Think I want you seeing something like that? No, you just drink your tea and be off. Oh, before you do, Ron..." Hagrid turned and opened a tin grabbing Ron's rat out of it and turning around.

"Scabbers! You're alive." Ron said excitedly as he stood up and I rubbed Draco's back gently because I could tell he was uncomfortable being in a house or hut with a lot of animals and bird flying around inside.

"I want you to keep a closer eye on your pets, Ron." Hagrid said.

"I think that means you owe someone an apology." Hermione said walking towards Ron.

"Right. Next time I see Crookshanks, I'll let him know." Ron said.

"I meant me!" Hermione said angrily just as the pot on Hagrid's table broke.

"Blimey! What was that?" Hagrid asked.

"Ow!" Harry said when something hit him in the back of the head turning around, "Hagrid."

"Oh, Crickey. It's late. It's nearly dark." He said turning around toward the rest of us. "You shouldn't be here. If someone sees you outside the castle this time of night, you'll be in trouble -- big trouble. particularly you, Harry, and (Y/N)." There was a knocking at the door, "With you in a moment!" Hagrid called out to them. "Quick, quick." Hagrid motioned for us to go out the back.

"Hagrid." Harry said turning around stopping me and Draco from going through the door, "It'll be fine. It'll be okay." He said making me roll my eyes and push him out the door as I followed him, with Draco behind me. Hermione opened the back door and watched carefully before motioning for us to follow them out the back as we ran through the pumpkin patch and near the woods before hiding behind some large pumpkins that were at the edge.
