I've arrived in Paris after hours on being on the plane. I've contemplated during that airplane ride that once I get off this plane and step foot on Paris, I'd completely forget about my life back in Japan.

I'd completely forget about "Gai" the author and live in Paris as Ingrid and solely Ingrid who came here on a vacation for a month.

Lena promised me she'd hold back from texting and calling me and so will Miss L to not hinder the experience? It's Lena's idea she told me to live just as...Ingrid

Honestly, i'd just be more pressured to do something memorable in Paris if all i'd be thinking about is books, writing, finding something worth romance-material for a plot.

So yes, this is Ingrid on Paris. And Ingrid's first destination is her hotel room bed.

After getting off the cab I make my way to the front desk grab my card key and go up to my hotel room which happens to be on the highest floor.

Just how many connections does Miss L have to secure me this room?

The view here is fucking amazing I tell you, you can't see the eiffel tower but the city lights from my window is amazing, definitely pinterest worthy if i do say so myself.

Why Paris?

Honestly I did ask Lena that question too.

She tells me because it's the city of love, and since i'm a romance-centered author this is the best place for me to stay.

Iloilo is also the city of love, somewhere a province in the Philippines. My dad is a Filipino hence my last name – Versoza just incase you wanted to know. My mom is a Japanese so I am based in Japan currently, as an author.

Anyways Paris!

As a lazy bum I think i'd only order room service for dinner. I am still tired from all the packing and the flight earlier, and maybe I am mentally and emotionally tired too from the stressful scolding I got from Miss Helen, weekly for the last 5 months, she was still kind to me in the first month by the way.

I think I need 12 hours of sleep.

Tomorrow is the day I fully explore!
