Today is  the scheduled dinner with the boss– Boss L or Miss L as they like to call her.

"Miss Ingrid or should I say Gai" She starts of with a smile and of course I smile back. "Miss L it's a pleasure to have dinner with you, but i'm really clueless as to what this dinner is about."

The 42 year old boss sips her dark red wine and flashes a smile with her bold red lip that looked amazing on her. Not to mention her black dress that hugged her body well, I feel ashamed for coming here with such shabby clothes.

"You're manager has informed me of your writer's block"

I'm fucking screwed.

"And I do understand that all authors have their dark times where the words just don't come out like how you want them to."

"As a person with 8 years of experience in this industry, I cannot force the authors under my wing to produce books they are not proud of."

"Phenom success lies in the books that our authors are confident to put out to the public."

"But I cannot force you to write what you do not want to write."

Honestly am I touched by her words. Lena was right about her, but is this her last words for me? Am i getting fired?

"I'm sorry to interrupt Miss L, but I am still quite unsure where this conversation is leading to."

"Lena has informed that this would be about my new book that maybe I was not informed of. Has Miss Helen approved one of my drafts?"

"Am i getting fired Miss L?"

She chuckled and a fond smile growing on her face.

"It must be nice to be 22 and be so blunt like this Miss Ingrid, but no you aren't getting fired."

"Though I did think your manager has informed you about this, it seems she suggested this out of her own accord."

"Although I did approve of her suggestion for her future plan for you."

Plan?

Future plan?

Confusion was probably evident on my face so she probably could not help but laugh at me.

She's so soft-spoken and very ladylike with her gestures and etiquette that it made me nervous what she'd say next.

"I'm sending you to Paris, Ingrid."
