Sergey's POV

I stared out the window watching as the sun began to set over the horizon, we've been in this new world for a few days now and yet this feeling never gets any less astounding, in fact I feel like its only now that the reality of our situation is starting to hit me, I've worked with Lobotomy Corporation for several years now and I've witnessed some pretty crazy things, a giant floating skull that asks you to confess your sins, a pair of red shoes that turn you into a psychotic axe murderer if you wear them and a living censor bar.

From what I've heard Clerks, Agents and civilians who low mental fortitude are actually able to glance [CENSORED]'s true appearance...but it's so horrifying that most of them go incoherently insane or even braindead in some cases.

But this portal...this place isn't anything like Lobotomy Corporation has encountered before, this isn't some small pocket dimension inhabited by a single or handful of creatures, this is a completely different world with its own laws and dangers, an entire world just like our own and yet so vastly different.

Up until recently the very concept of traveling to other worlds was something I thought was only possible in sci-fi movies...or trying to jump through a portal/gateway created by an abnormality which would almost certainly end in death, but here we are inside some massive fantasy world were the people still uses oil lamps and candles for light and buckets for bathing, not a single ounce of any modern technology in sight, and in place of abnormalities this world is inhabited by these so called 'Monsters' who quite frankly I'm still trying to wrap my head around.

A race of all female beings that rely on human men both for food and reproduction so they out of their way to kidnap them for that purpose...sheesh this whole thing sounds like the plot right out of a hentai, if we were going to end up traveling to a world of fantasy magic why couldn't it have been a bit more...I don't know 'mainstream' instead of some horny teenagers fantasy?

But regardless of what my feelings are this is the hand that not just Lobotomy but all of Earth has been dealt, our actions in these coming days will determine diplomatic relations with the powers of this world for generations to come...assuming the portal sticks around for that long, but first things first we are to remain stationed at Damerel until reinforcements arrive to help secure the village from any potential threats whether they be monsters or hostile humans only time will tell.

All these thoughts ran through my mind as the orange hue of the sunset began to fade away leaving only the night sky and the glow of the stars...the sky was so much clearer in this world, probably the fact that there isn't as much pollution compared to Earth has something to do with it, really drives home the fact that this world is essentially 'untouched' or tainted...well except for the monsters but that's besides the point, natural resources, minerals and fossil fuels are all resources that this world has that are probably untouched or undiscovered...the kind of things that any government would be interested in getting, question is how the kingdoms of this world will react to our presence and all of the technology we have.

But that's all stuff to worry about in the future, so far things have been quiet in this village and the only monsters we've actually encountered so far were the succubus attacking this village when we arrived in this world, and another monster that Nathan ran into in the forest which according to his story resembled some a woman dressed in a Victorian style dress with the hairstyle to match and instead of legs or a torso her body was like a slugs...so a slug monster perhaps?

And speaking of Nathan's encounter with the slug monster, while me and Sally were eating two of the MRE's that we brought into this world with us Nathan was currently being chewed out by Simmons for being reckless and eating food from this world even though we were told specifically not to in case the food of this world is too different from ours to be safe for us to eat, though I can't fault him too much about it...I used to be pretty impulsive as a teenager but still we have to be cautious in this world, so no heading off to the forest alone or eating things that you don't are safe or not.
