"Appo sollita?" asked Rakshan while sipping his coffee.

After that incident in the car Ashwin and Sivaangi grew closer in time. They became so comfortable with each other. Their mornings would start with an ice cream followed by him dropping her and their days would end with their late night talks.

But, everything turned the opposite for the past two days.

Ashwin seemed so gloomy during office hours that he would fill himself with just beverages avoiding food. Noticing his friend being out of place Rakshan pulled Ashwin out for a coffee.

"Aama....sonaen." Ashwin said plainly.

"Ava enna sonna" asked Rakshan with excitement but all he got was the broken sight of Ashwin with misty tears.

"Dei ennada" worry was visible in Rakshan's tone.

Exactly two weeks after that incident and them becoming close, one fine morning Ashwin was waiting for Sivaangi outside the car.

Unlike other days, today was special. He was planning to propose to her. He was correcting his shirt and already perfect hair for the umpteenth to make it a dreamy proposal.

A few minutes later, Sivaangi arrived like an epitome of gorgeousness in her Red saree with free hair. Looking at her, he forgot everything. He wanted to just take her away and make her his.

"Kelambalama" asked Sivaangi breaking his trance and that is when he started getting nervous.

"ahn...polam"

He was so confident about his proposal just a few hours before but having her next to him was making him nervous and a list of what ifs started tuning in. "What if she hates me?", "What if she finds it uncomfortable?", "What if she leaves me?".....and all these were making him restless.

Unable to bear it anymore he turned towards her and saw her turning towards him too. While they said simultaneously

"I love you Sivaangi"

"Ennaku Kalyanam Ashwin"

The car came into a screeching halt making them realise their current equation.

"kalyanama??" Exclaimed Rakshan with wide eyes

After their meet while having ice cream, Sivaangi was like a sister to Rakshan. Seeing Ashwin and Sivaangi being happy with each other made him manifest that to continue forever. But listening to the turn of events in reality he was helpless to do anything.

Ashwin could not hold it anymore. He hugged his friend very tight to stop his tears but he cried like anything making Rakshan feel pity on him.

"Dei ennaku ava venum da" Ashwin said in between his tears.

"epdi da, Kalyanamnu solra venumnu solra" asked a helpless Rakshan

Ashwin swallowed hard to stop sobbing, unable to bear the reality. He felt so empty once she left him isolated in the car after he confessed. He could not process anything of what she said while he felt so lonely and left out. He wanted to hug her so tight and not let her go anywhere but the mere thought of her going to be someone else's killed him too much.
