"Sir, Antidote 304 is missing"

"Whatt?" shouted the petrified man in the lab coat.

"Chief, Red alert" came another man carrying his mobile.

"Shit" He rummaged through his desk to check the intercom numbers causing the name board with his name written as "Robert" to fall down.

"This shouldn't happen" he lamented constantly in a low voice with an unnamed anxiousness. Not able to get any emergency numbers, he shouted "Call in for a meeting"

"Dei eppo da sapda varuva?" shouted Adhi's mom from downstairs while he was least bothered about her wailings as he was busy folding an envelope with a shy smile.

He grinned and turned to his right, to notice his white fluffy pup blinking its eyes looking at him.

"Sparkle, naan un mommy ku idha kooduka poraen'' he whispered to his champ, softly rufling his hair earning squeals from him.

Adhi, being the one who gives only love to people, fell in love with the innocent and introverted Thara whom he saw struggling with sparkle in the park for the first time.

He never expected that the "Why don't you be responsible in looking after your pet?" comment would sound so romantic until she shoved sparkle into his arms saying so.

Chuckling and brushing off the memory he faced sparkle saying "It's time to teach mommy how to be responsible in looking after pets"

"Ungha ponnuku sirichu pessa theriyadha na?" as usual started the nosy comments from nosy aunties making Thara's parents look each other with uneasiness

"Ponnu na nalla sirichi peasnum la" kala showed faces to her brother complaining about his daughter. While Kumar politely replied to his sister trying hard not to trigger her

Thara sighed, folding her clothes neatly hearing the faint voices from the other side of the door.

This isn't new to her and she isn't strong too but she is used to these, and there is a difference. There is a longing self in her that has always waited for love and care which was so rare in her 23 years of existence. Though her parents loved her so much, they never showed it to her.

Faintly smiling at her reflection in the mirror, she moved downstairs to hear an earful of nosy complaints as a side dish for her mom's dull dinner.

The members in the meeting, including the commissioner, concentrated on the presentation before they turned their heads to the door as it opened.

A man in his late 30s entered in his black suit along with his guards. He walked in giving out an unexplainable aura. He settled down on the chair placed in the middle of the meeting table. His sight was fixed on the title.
