"I just want to make sure that everything is alright before Zy gets here." I said to Leon, who was smirking at me. Maddox elbowed him in a way of telling him to be quiet, but Leon wasn't listening.

"You're fussing over your room, making sure that it's clean. Something you've never done before, I'd say you were whipped." I crossed my arms and glared at Leon, who was laughing.

"It won't be clean for too long. When Zy's heat is in full swing, I'm going to fuck him in every corner of the room." I said and Leon began to fake gag.

"Not something I want to hear." Maddox said, and I scoffed.

"I'm going to go and pick him up soon. You guys need to disappear from my room by the time I get home." I gave them a stern look. Leon waved me off while Maddox pretended not to hear what I was saying.

After taking one last look around, I grabbed my wallet and car key along with a pack of cigarettes. I know that I should stop smoking, but I can't right now. It's just too hard to resist, but I will eventually.

Since it's Sunday now, Zy didn't have to work, so I was heading straight to his house to get him.

I waved to my parents, not being able to talk to them since I was in a hurry to get to my car and my mate.

After a lot of fast driving, a road rage incident, and running a couple of stoplights, I finally made it to Zy's house.

I don't really feel like getting into details as to what went on after that, but for now, we were on our way back to the pack house.

"You have to drive slower." Zy said as he was trying to hold on for dear life.

"Not a chance in hell," I replied.

"You're going to get a ticket or get someone killed at this rate." He chastised, and I sighed.

"Wouldn't be my fault." I argued, which didn't make any sense because it would have been my fault.

"Why can't you wear a shirt when you're driving?" He asked in an annoyed tone, making me laugh.

"The heat is getting to me, not the only heat, though." Zy only scoffed at my reply.

"You're so unbearable," Zy muttered, and I didn't say anything else because he was right.

When we got to the pack house in peace, Alpha Rick, and Luna Angie. Adeline was also there, looking around with a bored expression on her face.

I got out of the car after parking it and walked up to them, with Zy by my side.

"Hello, I'm Rick. The Alpha here. I just want to officially welcome you to the pack, I hope that your stay here will be pleasing." I smirked at what alpha rick said because Zy's stay here was going to be filled with a lot of pleasure.

"Thank you. I hope that you're right." Zy replied, and Alpha Rick nodded his head.

After a brief introduction to the others, I was finally able to get Zy away from them.

I could tell that he was going to fit in with them already. He's more of a werewolf than human.

"This is a nice place." Zy said as we made our way to my room.

I nodded my head, not really paying attention to what he was saying. The only thing on my mind was to get Zy to my room as quickly as possible.

I'm horny.

Not that that's any of your business, but I want to do something, and I was going to get what I wanted even if Zy wasn't in the mood.

Once we arrived at my room, I set aside his luggage and started to advance on him. He was backing away from me, but I didn't care.

"Can't I get a minute to myself first?" He snapped. I shook my head and trapped him against the wall. He was breathing heavily, letting me know that he was getting turned on, even though he was protesting.

"So, tell me dear, what was your reaction when Jet told you about werewolves?" Mom asked, and I rolled my eyes. After Zy made sure I was satisfied enough, we made our way to the dining table, where everyone was gathered for a welcome feast.

I don't know what the big fuss was. All I know is that it was taking my time away from my mate, and I didn't like it one bit.

"I was shocked at first, but then I got over it. I, along with Drew, read a lot of werewolf books, so it didn't take long for me to be convinced." Zy answered, and mom nodded her head.

"That's a first. I've seen where humans would freak out when they found out about werewolves. I'm glad that you and Drew accepted this without a fight." Dad said, and zy smiled at him.

"Can you believe that our parents wanted Jet and I to get married?" Adeline asked Zy, and I narrowed my eyes at her.

Zy didn't say anything, which led me to believe that we were going to have the 'talk' once we were alone.

"That was before we knew he was mated to someone. There's no point in bringing that up Ade." Alpha Rick said.

"Isn't this great?" Drew asked, after a moment of silence.  Zy nodded his head, looking down at his plate of food and not really paying attention to anyone.

We spent the rest of the time in awkward silence. I knew that I should have told Zy about it, but it wasn't really that important for me to bring up.

But why did Adeline have to say something about it now?

The fact that she had a sly smile on her face led me to believe that she knew exactly what she was doing.

and now, I was left to deal with this mess by myself.
