(Jet)

"Jet wake up." I groaned and opened my eyes. My mother stood there staring at me with an amused look on her face.

"What's so funny?" I asked as I sat up.

"Why are you sleeping on the couch?" She asked, and I scoffed while folding my arms.

"You really don't want to know." I mumbled, which caused her to laugh.

"Well, get up and go get ready. You still have school to go to." I nodded my head and groaned. The pain in my neck was evident because of the uncomfortable sleep I got.

Zy kicked me out of my room after I told him that I was going to let him sleep on the couch, so needless to say, I ended up here instead.

I grabbed the pillow and the blanket and made my way to my room, hoping that I could get ready for school without another argument with zy.

When I arrived at my room, I tested the door and was shocked to see that it was open. Zy was lying on the bed, with his back turned to me as I made my way around as quietly as I could so that I wouldn't disturb him.

When I was done getting ready, Zy was still 'sleeping', so I walked up to him and bent down so that I was face to face with him. I chuckled when I realized what he was doing.

"You can get up Zy, stop pretending to sleep." I said as I shook his shoulders. He grunted and opened his eyes.

"How did you know I wasn't sleeping?" He asked in an irritated tone.

"I just know. I have to go to school." I said, which had him sitting up faster.

"School? I thought that you were going to be here with me." I could tell that he wasn't pleased with the idea of me leaving.

"I wish there was something I could do about that, but I can't. The idea was to get you here during your heat, and you got the time off that we need. That doesn't mean that I still don't have school to go to." I said, and he sighed.

"Whatever." He grumbled.

"Are you still mad at me?" I asked, and he shook his head.

"I couldn't care less about you right now, to be honest." My heart broke when he said that.

He didn't even realize what his words did to me. Blade was already whining in my head. Trying to take over so that he could comfort Zy. I guess I kinda got myself in this mess, so I had to take whatever he was giving me.

"Ok, I'm heading off to school now. I'll see you later." I made sure that I had everything before leaving, and that also includes cigarettes.

I made it to school in no time. I got out of the car and made my way to the back of the building so that I could smoke.

I wasn't here for too long when I heard footsteps walking towards me, and I saw that it was Leon and Maddox.

"Thought I saw you coming back here, everything okay?" Maddox asked, and I nodded my head.

"Yeah, everything's okay." I said as I continued to smoke.

"Are you sure there isn't anything you want to talk about?" Leon asked, making me roll my eyes.

"I'm positive. If something was bothering me, you two would be the first to know." They didn't seem convinced by my words, but luckily for them, they didn't say anything else.

They stayed there with me until I finished around four cigarettes. After that, we made our way inside so that we could get to class before the bell.

Maths class wasn't the same without Zy, and I was already having a hard time concentrating. The new teacher, Ms. Melrose, kept on glancing at me, and at one point, I could swear I saw her licking her lips.

I grimaced at the thought of her having a thing for me, not another damn teacher.

At the end of class, I was trying to leave as fast as I could when she stopped me, saying that she wanted to talk to me.

After making sure that everyone left, she closed the door and stood there staring at me with lust in her eyes. She was, in fact, beautiful. Her long brown hair was let loose, hitting her waist, as she continued to look at me with her black eyes.

"You don't look eighteen." She said after a while, and I raised my eyebrow at her.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked curiously, and she shook her head.

"It's nothing bad, I just thought that you could pass for someone older. Maybe it's the way you carry yourself." She said as she reached her hand out and placed it on my shoulder.

Dammit.

This was where I drew the line.
I was already in hot waters with Zy, I didn't want to have another argument with him if he somehow found out about this.

"And you would also say I didn't look gay right?" I asked. Her hand fell from my shoulder right away as her eyes became wide.

"G-Gay?" She asked in disbelief.

"Did I stutter?" I replied. She shook her head and sighed.

"Next time, think before you try to get with a student. It could go bad for you in every way." I know that I was being a hypocrite, but she didn't need to know that.

I don't even care if I outed myself to her. Half of the school already knows, since most of them are from my pack. The humans were another thing I had to deal with, but I don't care anymore.

I left before she could say anything else, I don't see how she was relevant at this point. I only need to focus on getting Zy to stop being mad at me. I had to work at nights and I had other things to do during the day, but that won't stop me from being with him.

At this point, I can't wait for his heat to come because only then he wouldn't be able to keep his hands off me.
