"Tamara, I didn't know you were staying the night." Silas says as we get downstairs, me still being in his shirt and some running shorts I brought with me.
"I told you yesterday, Kylie was supossed to stay to but we run in a little problem." Stephan says.
"What did you do this time?" He asks putting down the newspaper. When he sees the cut in Stephan's eyebrow he looks at him with a look I can't place, frustration? Dissapointment? Anger? Worrie? Maybe a combination of all.
"Wait, this time?" I ask confused.
"Don't worry about it." Stephan says.
"Stephan." His dad says with a warning tone.
"Dylan called T a whore and I lost it."
"I tried to stop it." I say.
"Why?" He asks concerned to him.
"Because of her past. I don't want anyone telling her something that isn't true. I want to protect her I don't care what it costs."
"So you fight a guy?"
"He was holding her against him without her will. She tried to get away from him."
"Did you see a doctor?"
"I called Seth. He took me to the ER."
"Good, and tell her you love her and get this relationship back." Sylas says as and walk away. I just stand there awkwardly not knowing what to do or say.
"So you're a daddy's boy?" I ask laughing as we walk into the kitchen.
"Never got a close relationship with mom. For as long as I remember it was rockey between them. I was raised by my dad and a nanny, almost never saw my mom." He says leaning against the counter.
"So you talk to you dad a lot?"
"At dinner when I don't work. He makes sure I never eat alone so he gets away from work for an hour orso to come eat with me since I'm now the only one living at home."
"How about you?"
"I was semi close to mom. Told her about some things, not a lot because she was more focussed on raising Freya and Thea and getting Terra out of trouble. The one I was closest with was my grandpa, or as I called him Poppa."
"Poppa?"
"I called him papa a lot since my dad left and he always told me to call him poppa."
"Cute, do you miss him?"
"He passed away when I turned 12. I was devestated and got into a depression that was diagnosed when I was 16, so last year, therapy worked a lot."
