Tamara's POV

"Stephan, what a surprise, I didn't know you were coming over." I hear my mom say. Fuck.

"Yea, I just came to get T." He says back. I hear some footsteps and hear the door close.

"She's in the kitchen." I hear my mom say.

"T, can we talk?" I hear him say.

"I'm busy." I say looking at me MacBook doing my homework.

"Please T."

"I'm busy Stephan. I need to do this homework."

"I know you, you barely have any."

"So now you know me but when I say I didn't do something you don't?" I say turning to him.

"T, go upstairs and talk this out." Mom says.

"No, there's nothing to talk about. I need to finish this." I say turning back.

"Can you at least call me when you're done?"

"I don't know when I'll be done."

"Right, well, thank you Neith for letting me in. I'll be going now." He says sad. Mom stands up and walks with him to the door and a tear leaves my eye.

"What the fuck happened between you two?"

"I can't talk about it because I can't say what happened."

"Then explain without saying it."

"It's going to be vague, but okay, Kylie knows something and he thinks I told it to her and when I said I didn't he didn't believe me."

"And you can't say what?"

"No, that's why I said it's going to be vague."

"Okay. Talk to him about it. You looked so happy with him."

"I am, but trust is the most important thing for me. So when he said that it broke me."

"You've been with your ex for two years, look at what he has done to you."

"Cuz I don't know? Mom, I've been to therapy because of him, I got PTSD because of him and his friends, I got trust issues because of him. Don't use him as an excuse to say I need to talk to Stephan." I say. I close my MacBook and grab my books.

"I'm going for a run." I say. I walk upstairs and get changed.

"You need to teach her not to speak to you like that." I hear David say as I walk downstairs.

"David, for the last time, she's not going to a boarding school. She's been through a lot last year and you're not helping by getting mad about the fact she had a sugar daddy, who she didn't even sleep with, he was the only father figure she knew. He helped her through so much and you're bringing it all back so don't get angry at her for this again because I'll always be by her side." My mom bites back.

"Send me there, I'll get kicked out within a few weeks." I say.

"Don't test me."

"You want me to leave and sent me to a boarding school, well do it, I'll be back in no time. I mean, day 2 on this school I got someone expelled and even in prison, the first party I went I broke a guy's nose, I got Melissa in the hospital, so trust me when I say I'll be back in no time." I say.

"Tamara. Don't push it." Mom says.

"What's the point of staying here when David clearly wants me gone, Stephan doesn't even trust me and I don't even know if I want to be here anymore." I say.
